Back in the 8/16 bit days sometimes our parents bought us games that weren't necessarily the best, because they weren't gamers and they picked based on box art or names they knew. You were clearly a lucky youngster. Your mom had well above the average taste. This is an exceptional game. Glad you got to enjoy those good memories. I was also lucky in this regard, my dad gamed a little and picked a lot of really great games for me, so I know those good feels. :)

This game used to be the favorite of my sister... quarentine nostalgia here we go

Haha, your sister has wonderful taste in games. This is probably one of my favourite genesis games and that's with none of the benefit of nostalgia. I hadn't played this game before I started speedrunning it. It holds up exceptionally well to this day. Hope you enjoyed the trip down nostalgia lane. :)
