If you ever do this again magma cube morph would be a good option because of its small hitbox for the price of 2 less hearts. also with the morph mod I play magma cubes get increased armor.

Tip for next manhunt like this just spawn the with directly under the nether roof so it can't attack and move and also you don't have to leave the nether than if they go to the end first just try to kill the warden using the wither it can attack from far and has more health also warden can't use sonic boom when you are 20 blocks away but if you have spectral arrow u can see and attack the warden from far
