Let's say, for the sake of an argument, that you train in "serious" martial arts... First, if you did-you would know that it really does work; and second- it is not any more harmful then restarting your computer by Ctrl+Alt+Del (vs hitting it with a hammer), and certainly less harmful then brute force KO, likely with concussion. I'm gonna say being in the UFC technically doesn't make a martial art better or worse than any other. Considering how there are over 32000 of them in the world, it would be rather difficult to see every single one of them compete in the UFC, not to mention the wide variety of practioners to them and their own level training in all those different martial arts factoring into it. But yeah that does not look legit at all.

Bubishi.is not a combat sport. Just like krav maga, Filipino Kali, Muay Boran, Indonesian Silat. Or even old school Japanese jiujitsu. These arts are never considered COMBAT SPORTS. They were meant to disable or kill your opponent

Watch the video of Bubishi moves used in UFC, Pride, and other fights. I am a judoka and I've seen opponents use Bubishi to really hurt the opponent. It's not meant for competition; only when you are in a real fight. Unless you are an ahole

Hey, i wonder when are you going to know the difference between combat sports and raw combat ufc is a controlled sports organization which doesn't support life threatening combat that's why they have strict rules for fighting it's a controlled combat sports. I don't think ufc champions can win a raw fight in the streets. If you want to survive real life you need to learn brutally raw techniques in order to survive you need to be fit, u need to have endurance, you need to have environment awareness and you need to have no faith that you are going to survive the situation.

The problem with these techniques validity is that everything is static. There is no guard or defense posed so the question is, how do you close distance and break defense to "stick it in there?" I've trained with both a Chi Gung practitioner and a pressure point instructor before, it's real but: 1. I would never allow some one to inflict this much "internal" damage to me during a demonstration. 2. If these guys are REALLY attacking pressure points, they are bordering on sadistic with the amount of pain they are inflicting on their Ukes. Pressure point strikes are real, chi strikes are real and very painful but the question remains, can you reach that sweet spot with an active attacker/defender? I personally don't agree with this level of show and tell...

AN in the ring we have knock out punch to the chin. Right? And with the glove, and rules, you can’t pull this off. Not to mention, opponent is not still to receive the strike. And striking in short range really takes time to master. Plus lots of traditional martial art teachers are bullshit. They may know their stuff but didn’t reach the mastery at all. And MMA fighters are too busy to learn grappling techniques, improve stamina, sparring, hitting bags. This is not bullshit. This kind of stuff exists and it s not that rare. It is just pressure point and developed short power...or super coordination, if you will.

Kyushu or vital point stimulation is real but difficult to apply in real life due to the required precision and lack of training for obvious ethical reasons. The martial artists in the video are nonetheless in poor shape and do not resist. Then the vital point stimulation works even better but is unethical. Properly trained fighters have a higher tolerance and would require a stronger stimulation.

I've been in the martial arts for 44 years this year. This is BS. There are points that cause pain and places that can knock you out if you strike them like the "sweet spot" in boxing (the tip of the chin) and the arteries on the side of the neck. However tapping a pressure point on your face or arm won't knock you out like that. Every time they test it out on outsiders it fails. I've had it done to me....nothing, i was not even dizzy.
@jaguarstrikesagain79277 жыл бұрын
And his assistants would be attacking him and he would still knock them out .

If there are so many points that can make the body so vulnerable, then why do you never see these techniques in UFC, for example? Or are these techniques in fact, actually used by MMA competitors in UFC?
@RemixTheOriginal8 жыл бұрын
They're used, just in a different matter. For example, choke holds, they're used to cut off blood and oxygen to the head. You're basically gaining control over your opponent while still doing the same "pressure points" you see in the video. You're just doing it in a more controlling way. Also, professionals are trained to resist these moves, making it harder to "knock someone out" with a simple chop to the artery. Again, instead of chopping to the neck, you use a chokehold to continually cut off the air and blood flow to the head.
@jcleary12328 жыл бұрын
