guys don't use microbead exfoliants, the beads in it are non biodegradable because they're made of plastic, so they're really horrible for the environment. also when you were talking about that chemical exfoliant, the little white balls that show up aren't actually dead skin, it's just the product bunching up together
@despairia
@despairia 8 жыл бұрын

+Natasha Burdette I don't know if you were referring to Bubz or not, but the physical exfoliator she used didn't have microbeads- it was apricot and grape seeds. And with chemical exfoliators, part of it is the product just bunching up, but the other part of how they work is they chemically remove a bit of your skin and the balls that show up help work the dead skin off and grab it.

Lare Benetti Like Weeb said, sugar is too rough on most skins, particularly facial skin since it's more delicate. My sensitive skin would react very badly to it.

I don't really understand how certain color of lights will effect your face but it makes me think of one of my favorite books called "Shades of Grey" by Jasper Fforde(no it's not the horrid fanfiction turned novel)...in this story people are ranked by what colors they can see, for instance people who see in shades of purple are consider royalty. Anywho, there is a certain kind of doctors called the 'Swatchmen" who use colored lights to treat medical issues, such as, if a purple seeing person is unconscious, they would use a light orange light flash to bring him to. Anyway, it's a really good book, but seeing her use different colored lights made me think of that.

+YourLossLoser The different colours of light have different frequency and wavelength (red having the longest frequency and wavelength, then yellow and blue with the shortest). These properties can manipulate cells to product different chemicals and hormones to do a certain thing so red light stimulates cologne production. It's the same reason why sunlight allows your body to produce vitamin D.
@AmberLF
@AmberLF 8 жыл бұрын
Wow, that's pretty cool tbh~ Thank you for explaining it to me :D
@emmaswan6219
@emmaswan6219 8 жыл бұрын
***** I'm not 100% sure. Obviously marketing and packaging and all that jazz bumps up the price. However, looking exclusively at the lights themselves I would say its all to do with the wavelength and frequency. It needs to be one specific type of wavelength and frequency that produces the right shade of colour (known as monochromatic light and an example of this is a laser). If the wavelength and frequency is too long or short, the cells will not react and so you want get the desired effect. Even though to our eyes the colour may look the same, there might be a slit different in the wavelength and frequency and so might not work as well if at all. That's what I think but if you could find the exact bulbs they use and you can get them then just use them and go wild :)

How much time per week do you actually spend on skincare? Since I often don't find the time to do so...especially in the morning. I don't have much pimples and almost no blackheads but the pores on my cheeks are quiet large and I don't even have to mention my dark circles because everybody can see them from a mile distance XD'

Try BHA and AHA products for reducing the size of pores
@jennykim01
@jennykim01 8 жыл бұрын
You need to exfoliate to shrink the pores.. Or AHA/BHA chemical exfoliators but you would have to use sunscreen in the morning since they're active ingredients. Another option is to use steam your face to open pores then using clay mask. Btw asians takes skincare seriously, I use 30-60 minutes everyday for morning and night.. Bubz has many steps as well so I guess at least 30 min everyday x 7.

it really depends. If you don't have much problems then you don't have to use too many products. Hers may seem like a lot but it's actually quite basic and necessary. I often spend only like 5 mins in the morning and 15-20 mins at night for my skincare. 1 min for cleansing/massaging, 1 min for exfoliating (occasionally), and 3 mins for toner, lotion, spot treatment since I have some hormones pimples going on, and of course sunscreen. For nighttime also cleanse, exfoliate, toner, put on some eye cream because you have dark circles, night cream. Sometimes I put on a mask. I like to invest in a serum too but good serum is expensive and I don't really need one right now. Skincare doesn't take much of your time. Makeup does.

+01Natalcia01 In my opinion, I think it's perfectly fine just having a small number of friends. If you asked me how many of my friends I am actually close with that and I can connect to, I can count them all with one hand. It's more important to have quality friends than having a quantity of friends. As for being happy and cheerful all the time, I found it easier to just focus on bettering yourself instead of putting all your effort into other problems that aren't in your control. I'm struggling with something similar so I can't give you a definite answer but this is what has helped me in the past.

For me, applying less products is the key. I have quite troubled skin but since I just stick to a cleanser, peeling (every now and then), moisturizer and eye cream it got so much better. Great video Bubz! The eye makeup remover you used looks like a must-try. Out of curiosity, do you not use bioderma anymore to remove eye makeup? And if so, was it for a reason having to do with the product? Or simply trying new things?

thats the correct way to use cleanser. lathering and making it foam before applying. its so annoying when people do reviews/demo but they say the product is not working and not foaming up. good job bubz!! ^_^

I purchased the Optimiser Voyage Trilight about a month ago and it honestly works. It just looks like three different colour lights and I can understand why people might not think it's any good, seeing as when you're using it you can't really feel much, but you can feel the difference immediately and your skin gets nicer after only a few days! I use aloe vera gel as the lubricant which leaves my face feeling cool. I'd definitely recommend it.

It is expensive but worth the money. It's been a few months now since I started using it and the difference is definitely visible.
