This is one of my best leg lock set ups that I like to use a lot from my half guard. Pay attention to the details, especially how to avoid losing control once you isolate the leg.

What do you do if the opponents left arm prevents the leg from making a full rotation when you pendulum around?
@adamc43213 жыл бұрын
That's what I was wondering too. His partner had to throw his arm out of the way

I tried something similar yesterday where I used the foot of the outside (swinging) leg in the armpit of the arm in question to push my opponents upper body away and further expose the leg for the kneebar. 👍

What if your opponent doesn’t take his arm out to help you like at 2:10?

Just leave it in there. It shouldn't stop you from finishing. By the time you stretch it out he will only have a wrist and hand in there. But he will probably pull it out anyways. It's a natural reaction to untrap your arm.

Yeah, I think your question was perfectly reasonable

I had the same thought as Haddon below: What if the opponent hugs your leg when you swing it over from the knee shield?

The guy in the blue should get a chiropractic adjustment because I noticed that when he was kneeling his posture was a little crooked, get it fixed brother it’ll improve your jiu jitsu and overall well-being so much!!

Umm, how do I get the guy to move his arm out of the way (2:08) when I swing my leg over, lol?

Was thinking same thing. I’ll leave this technique in KZbin land

At 2:44 it looks like his opponent could stack him and potentially this could hurt his neck. Awesome technique and breakdown. I'm fairly new. Am I wrong about the stacking risk?
@Lukasz.Kaa092 жыл бұрын
It really depends...If u hold leg tight and also push your hips away it will be hard to keep the balance thus stand up and stack him. If on the other hand u slacking and do it in lazy way he might actually stack you.

I knew this guy was a perfectionist. You can't be on top of the BJJ mountain if you are not. I still feel that he is a better practitioner than he is a teacher.
