Buchla Snares for the Roland TM6 Pro

How I created modular synthesizer snare drum samples for the Roland TM6 Pro Factory Sound Library, using my vintage Buchla CBS Performance System III.

Very interesting! But, as a drummer, my opinion is not enough attack and too much crunchy noise. Can't wait to get my TM-6 Pro!

Yeah, it's hard to condense days of experimenting into a short video. Although, as the TM6 Pro is designed to be hybrid (to mix under or with your own drums) you might not want too much attack As I said in the video, I would record a long stretch of audio straight from the Buchla, find the hits that sounded best and process those (with eq, compression etc). So a single sample for the TM6 Pro should sound much more punchy than the raw unprocessed audio out of the Buchla, as in this video. Hope you like your TM6 Pro!
