Buck 110 collection

Been using automotive paste wax on my 110 bolsters for years to keep them looking fresh and to protect them from the acids found in our skin oils.

From Phil D. I just repaired a ironwood handle on a buck 110 auto that had the same problem as your ramhorn handle 110. Came out perfect. You will need the following---Tube of E6000 glue (best ever, been using it for a long time) can find at Walmart. Roll of green Frogtape. Toothpicks and small straight pins as in sewing. One small C-clamp. Tape up scales along the open seem and the frame and tape both ends at far end and bolster. Pry open the scale just a little with the pins and leave them in. Squeeze in some glue into the seem and force it in with a toothpick, be sure to get it in there. Pull out pins and lightly wipe off excess glue. Gently place the C-clamp on the scales and tighten it up until the scale meets the frame with minimal space. Again wipe off excess glue. Leave tape on and do not remove C- clamp for for at least 48hrs.. Good Luck.

I have several numbered Buck 110's with gold inlay eagle's # 110 of 500, gold inlay Bucks and Doe's 114 of 500 and gold inlay timber wolves and black bear's 059 of 500. Also your Damascus 110 reminded me of the ones I bought in 1989-90 with thick Stag scales and nickel silver bolsters and the most beautiful Damascus blades I've ever seen and yours rates right up there with mine. These are just a few of what I have collected since 1978 when I bought my first Buck while in the military, ironically it was a Buck 112, the only 112 I ever bought. Now the collection is over 50. It truly is an addiction. LOL

With the age of the first 110 in the nylon case looks to be 2010. It's hard to see the date code. So I think that knife was 10 years old when you made this video. Thanks for showing these beauties. Best Gray

Very nice, even if you are not american I think you have to have a Buck knife. There are not that many knives that are so funcional. I've got the 110, 112, original and the slim and the 140 with micarta scales which I made myself. I LOVE Buck knives and use them already 30 years

Great collection. Check out the new limited edition 2021 Legendary Series Model 110. It's got marbled carbon fiber scales with gunmetal gray aluminum bolsters, a pocket clip and an S45VN clip point blade. It's pricey (200.00) but oh man, is it beautiful. It's about 2.5 oz. lighter than the traditional 110 so it's fairly easy to carry in the pocket (4.8 oz.). I only had two large pocket knives in my daily rotation, a Protech Strider SNG and Microtech Combat Troodon. This new Buck has replaced the Microtech now. It's just too cool to sit in a drawer.

most people keep their buck 110's in a tool box or in the vehicle because they weigh 20 pounds and are not a good EDC. i love my buck 110 and its always with me just not on me.
