Buck regulator installed 6:7 24

Installing a Fuel gauge regulator into a 74 Super Convertible.
Aftermarket Gauge and one of the regulator that I selected for testing. Then I wired up the Regulator with the proper spade connectors along with the Fuse for protection.
Installed and checked the sender for fuel level by resistance. It showed almost a 1/2 tank... Gauge showed the correct amount of fuel. Verified the total operation of the gauge and regulator on the bench prior to installing.
It all tested excellent... E, R, 1/4, 1/2 and F..
Installation was as simple as doing the OEM vibrator etc.
Bud went home with a smile.
I used the Drok buck regulator for this design.
Gave the option to my Bud as to which one he wanted, the LM317 module or the Drok buck...
As a note, the gauge he got, aftermarket from Jbugs had been tampered with. Maybe someone attempted to calibrate it.. I had to adjust the regulator down to about 6.2vdc to read properly. Normally ALL the gauges I have done, over 15 have not been like this but who knows.
Out of the box the needle dragged really bad. We had to bend it ever so slight to keep it from jerking!
Just crap!
The box the gauge came in said the gauge was from Denmark,, the JP Power Groups.
