Generally no. Fresh air breaks are fairly short and they will leave you if you aren’t on the train when they leave. So stay close and listen for the all aboard.

there is a terminal here but im confused like, is the train here and gets you to chicago or indiana. im gonna call tomorrow. never seen an amtrak but have a terminal. lol
