So sad that MANY countries abroad are unsafe for black people. In those cases, it's best to travel in groups or avoid altogether. Bravery does not come into question. Safety first. Perhaps you would be willing to plan a group trip for your subscribers?😊

I highly recommend Portland there’s a breakfast spot called cameo cafe maybe 12 mins from the airport the food and service was amazing and the portions are HUGE they have pancakes the size of a car tire lol and also they have many hot springs to visit and relax in i enjoyed my visit there I can’t recommend it enough

My family and I have travelled by train across the U.S. to Portland Oregon and Wyoming. I had the sleeper car accommodations and it was an awesome experience. We hung out as a family, slowed down and saw the beautiful plains of the U.S. How you get there is part of the journey, not just the destination.

Train travel is actually not that expensive. Not like air travel. If you have the time…it’s actually pleasant. Amtrak tip…If you can’t afford to book a private room, try to book a seat in the Senior/handicap car. Only 8 or 10 seats. A ton of room! You’ll just be chillin with the Senior Saints!😂
@Sojournies8 күн бұрын
Yes I love the rooms! They can get pricey but are so so worth it

I have stories from my parents driving on vacations and getting into harrowing situations in new places where things are different. Dad driving the wrong way on the road in Scotland. Dad almost driving off the edge of a cliffside highway in Hawaii. Dad almost... maybe its a my-dad problem 😂

No TSA either. Yes, I absolutely LOVE the speed of travel by air, but I dislike all of the extras. I don’t want to put on a burlesque show, slide my shoes off, and step onto a platform that a million others have. Train is so peaceful… especially when you’re in upgraded seating.
@Sojournies8 күн бұрын
Agreeed! The speed of planes is nice can't lie but I love the comfort of a train

Being able to walk during travel is a life saver. Airplanes are too small to actually stretch legs without being in someone else's way. And a car you have to stop traveling to walk around
@Sojournies8 күн бұрын
That's a great point! And there are some fresh air stops on Amtrak. They're not long but a nice break from sitting
