My pleasure Jim, you end that Buckie. You will be as mad as The Rev by your third bottle. Thank you for my tipple. Going all Northern it reminds me of Vimto mixed with Benylin!! But like you said not unpleasant.👍🍻

I had a little chortle when I noticed your concentration not trying the mention the other well known cream we talked about (and definitely not of the polishing type), great video and I think you're hooked on the old jungle juice now mate!

I would say it brightened up the blades and tools significantly. And I really agree with you my friend you would not want to try to restore it to brand-new condition because it would just erase the character and history of the knife. A very good product I would say. Thanks for sharing.

Great video this week as usual, I have been using Autosol for years and has been great for removing surface dirt, stains as well as rust.

Interesting drink. I couldn't have that drink due to the caffeine. I have a heart disease and that would set off my defibrillator , lol Good job on the blade , glad you kept it original. Big ThumbZ UP !!!

I use it all the time on a strop for the final finish of chisels, gouges, plane blades and so on. Very happy with it.

I never knew buckfast had caffeine in it, like you said that explains why some people go a bit funny on it, when i was a teenager i had the same problem as we used to mix whisky with loads of coffee, i hated it whisky as a teen, what we'd do is mix 4+ shots of whiskey with heaped tablespoons of coffee and down it, then repeat.. we got arrested every time we did that, hahaha.

Used to drink Buckfast with some Irish friends in uni, usually after a tough game of rugby, before going to the social!!

I have been using Autosol for years as a polish / cleaner but it also works great on a strop for finishing knives

Use Autosol on my strop, gives a nice mirror polish to the bevel and leaves it razor sharp!

That sure looks like a nice bottle of great taste and fun. I wonder if something like that can be found here in Denmark? Could you please post the name of that stuff? .. I also went from Brasso to Autosol :-)

I learned something new tonight Jim. Never heard of Buckfest before. I can see it being popular with the young crowd on the weekends though. I use a product here called Flitz metal polish which would seem a similar product to Autosol. Is it just me or have you noticed that Brasso doesn't seem as effective as it used to be? ATB Doug.

Auto Sol is pretty good isn't it ? I like to see a few character markds on a pocket knife as well. Show's it's been used and carried. Which tells you more about how good the thing is than anything else really.

Might have got a better result drinking the metal polish and shining the knife with the Buckie!
