I just started watching this channel and Ive gone back and watched a lot of videos from the passed couple of years and I really am loving my time here because I never feel like I get ripped off with lack of content or a lack of an explanation from Buckin'. His video are one of the few that when I see them in my subscription box I know it will be worth my time to watch and I will enjoy it and even learn stuff. Thanks for the commitment to us subscribers buckin'....it means a lot when people aren't just in it for the views and for the chip on their shoulder but are actually doing it for the good of mankind spreading joy and love.

Hey buckin,i am retired from the climbing, being up there in years,but we use to do it that way for many years.I know that some of the gear out there blows my mind now,but that was the old school way.Even when we use to take big wood,we would take wraps on the bottom of the tree,with the bull rope,way back before the fancy gear was out.Great job my friend.Appreciate you showing em how it's done.Nothing like youtube

I'm especially thankful for it today, have just not been in a good mood all day, and didn't really have much going. Thanks for your instructions in the tree. Most youtubers are in too much of a hurry to show rigging techniques, which are the most important part of tree work in my opinion. With others its more about the spectacular fall other than the preparation it takes to be safe and effective.

Nice edit Lord Buckington. Surprising (to me) to see how big those limbs are actually from the other perspective. When you have the helmet cam on and you are taking them off at the tree, they don't look that long, but the other camera really showed that. Nice property your buddy has there and in very nice shape by the looks of things. All the best everyone, Shankers

Sorry, Billy Ray, been watching you for some time now. I should've subscribed earlier and just did so today. You take the time and effort to school us newbies (me), and I appreciate it. Been doing this stuff for years and you keep schooling me. So far, I still got all my fingers. Yeah, you got skills! But mostly I watch it because of your uplifting attitude and down to earth talk which is applicable to life in general. You're listed as entertainment but you should be tagged for instructional also. My biggest take away is you the ever endearing statement at the end of your cast, "Be kind !". Now that's gonna stick with me for some time. Thank you and God bless!

Love your vids Buckin’ Billy and I’m not trying to split hairs here brother but a “munter hitch” is similar to the clove hitch but one loop passes through the outside of the hitch and the other on the inside. What you’re using to rig up a “false crotch” that is a half hitch but when used to distribute weight over a longer anchoring point, or if the tree has slick bark that doesn’t make much friction on your rope is called a “marl”. It’s mostly used in front of your running bowline or inverted above your running bowline to make your cut butt heavy so it doesn’t swap ends or shock load the rope or the tree. I’m an old school feller and I love your channel and especially your saw collection “FRIEND”!

I like um all man, I’m kind of new to your channel so I’ve been going back and watching the older ones. It’s good content!! Even if you don’t like power saws and cutting trees it’s something educational in everyone for everybody! I want one of your axes… and a muffler for my baby 60cc husky so I’ve been glued to them all.

First hi to all the buckin army. That little 10 10 with the .325 was sure cutting sweet.
@tonyrobbins66 жыл бұрын
I have a cheap Chinese gray market 42cc saw with an Oregon 20" speed cut bar. It cuts hardwood like butter and it is a .325 Believe it or not, the 20" speed cut is 1.5 pounds lighter than the 22" that came with the saw. I also have a mac mini 35 and wanted a speed cut bar for it, but they only make one in 18" and I wanted a short (12") for the mini. The chain for the mini is non-safety 3/8 LP, so it cuts pretty aggressively.

You might want to take care of your hearing a bit more.sucks to be saying "what" all the time with you friends n family .
