Buckin, I have a great appreciation for your consistency in explaining the "Rhyme & Reason" for how you do that voodoo that you do so well in all of your content. As a retired tradesman (carpenter), and business man I have an even greater appreciation for the respect you show the trade itself and enough caring to ensure that those you reach develop the same respect. That you merge that philosophy with interpersonal skills that you have in treating others with the same respect and love that we all have for ourselves is the icing on the cake. Much love, Howard

been recently working with an older tree climber. Much of the stuff he has been teaching me at first scared the crap out of me. But i find myself using it more and more, it's so much quicker if you only have small stuff to do to just use your tail or your climbing line to rig down the small stuff and natural crotch rigging blows my mind every time. Great video mate keep it up!

I am learning lots every day and doing climbing. Absolutely love it and find I like to keep it simple, I use minimal equipment and am surprised at how much can be done with so little. Like Billy says, "you can have all the fancy gadgets you want, but this is ALL you need right here." Much love and God bless

Another great video. I just bought a Stihl MS170 and bought a 12 inch bar and chain to go on it for these small limbing jobs. Nothing like riding a whip antenna when the top goes over. My first saw was a 10 inch limbing saw that I kept set to stall when I let go of the trigger. Sometimes a pain, but when you have to let go and hang on for dear life, it made perfect sense that the saw not be running. LOL

The longer I own anything that with care and maintenance lasts well past it’s intended Life the more I fall in Love with it. I just bought a replacement mighty mite Eureka canister vacuum to backup the one from the house I grew up in. It’s 40+ years old and still works but the bearings are starting to show their age squealing. I love it and it has served years of service since my childhood.

Man watching you remind me of when I was a kid self-taught taking trees down. I started with a 1/2" 3 blade nylon line. That crap would twist and knot so bad. I used a skill chain saw no safety on that saw. I have taken and tide at the top and cut at the bottom chunking the tree down. Reason no ground crew and nowhere to drop it. But I had homemade shanks rope and guts and a harness. To this day never had a job go south. And I have 61 years of planet earth under my belt. I loved watching the ride. The first tree I ever topped scared the piss out of me because I had no idea that ride was coming. Lmao

I don’t know if you are crazy and good, or good and crazy, haha. Love watching you because you must be OK to post the video. ❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍. Could I tell my favorite chainsaw story? Back in the 50s a 17 year old was looking for a way to make a couple of dollars for the weekend when he came upon an old man standing beside his wood pile wondering how to get the wood cut. The young man said he would do it for. $2. The old man said get what you need out of the shed there, and I’ll be back in a few minutes to see how you’re doing. The YM found an old bow saw and started cutting wood. When the OM came out he said you’re doing pretty good but use that yellow chainsaw and you’ll finish before I get back from town. About an hour latter he came back and found the YM about passed out. What wrong he ask. That chainsaw about killed me, I had trouble cutting one pole. The OM said it should be real sharp, let me try it. He pulled the cord, and the saw went bzzzzzzzzz, the YM said, “WHAT’S THAT NOISE”!
