Hey guys! I am sitting on the airport waiting for the plane. I have spent three absolutely amazing weeks here in US. So I want to thank all of you to make it happen, because it was this chanel, this comunity what got me here. Without you people, without this comunity i wouldnt have reason strong enough to come. So thank you all for being here. I am gratefull that I could meet at least few of you at Buckinstock. I enjoyed time i spent with you so much that i cant even express it. I am so gratefull for this experience. Thank you. Jan, the czech guy

Buckin that's one Sweet Axe. I just don't do much with axe's anymore even tho I grew up using an axe, splitting maul, and metal wedges. Hydraulic splitter is what I use now. About your comment with your wife getting wood in....My wife loves when I come home from cutting fire wood Red Cedar nothing else she love's to smell the wood and get a natural high.

I Just discovered your channel a couple days ago. Love it ! Today at our local cattle auction/flee market, I bought a real nice ‘True Temper Kelly Perfect’ double bit axe head for $20....wow ! I have logged and saw milled with teams of horses since 1992 ( I am Old Order Mennonite ). You got me interested in doing axes and vintage chain saws ( I am also a part time blacksmith )....sorry, but we always used Stihl saws (441, O 36’s and 290). I started out 50 years ago with a Clinton I rebuilt and a new Mac 15 ( I just gave away my age ). That old Mac 15 and big Clinton were beasts ! Ps. Your little ‘hook’ knife is a horse hoof trimmer

What an eduction in how it’s done friends. Thank you BBR! Enjoyed every minute. (And I did see your direction sign on the Morgan’s video. I’d be a little concerned though. Hey Buckin very good point , about the grooves on the inside of the head I used a bamboo handle on a grooved head and luckily when shaving down the handle I noticed the grooves , wasn’t cutting into the hard bamboo handle So once i got the handle the right size I put it together and then put a broken plastic felling wedge in there overnight so the handle bedded into the grooves tightly Next day removed the plastic wedge and glued the wood wedge without the worry of It getting loose in a few months 👍👍👍🇬🇧

I really appreciate a man doing what he does for a living with all his heart to do his best. I used to breed cows and I got so good, if a cow didn't get pregnant on the first try the farmer call the vet to find out what was wrong with the cow. I atribute my success to breeding the cow at the right time, not when it was convenient for me.
