After running my first big saw, 395xp, I watched your content on running a big saw. Keep it close, straighten the arms, rest the tip on the wood and I saw everything I was doing wrong hauling it around the woods. I was trying to use it like a 292xp or a 2152 Jonsered. You have saved these old 60 yr forearms a bunch of stress with that lesson.

I have a 592 like the one pictured in the video with the full wrap set up I bought a walkerized muffler and I actually really like it. Great videos by the way, I always enjoy watching them. My favourite video you did was when you showed your 372 with the BBR pipe. I kind of wish I could get one of those for my 372 that is a really sick looking pipe. I have also learned a lot on hand filing chains from your videos too. Keep up the good work.

Just incase anyone reads these comments…..592s, to do a reset on low side of carb. It HAS to idle for 3mins. To set fuel on high side, it has to have a 75-100% throttle w/ a load on it…for a WHOLE minute.

When you get it back, do a tuning cut with it first and it will be even more snappy. 10-20 second cut with just the tip plunged into a long, pull it backwards and listen to the autotune reset itself for the pipe. 3 minute idle for low jet retune. Recommended by Husqvarna tech😄

When you shut the saw down why do you pull the “pull string” a little?
@tintinlavigne52574 сағат бұрын
Its a habit for the old saw to not break the starter mécanisme. Cause when you shut down your saw it some times turn backwards on last stroke due to compression. Stihl have some plastic retractable pawls ( its not concern by this little tricks.) But husquvarna and other brands they us metal claws on the flywheel, they are spring loaded, usually they stay away due to centrifugal forces. But on the last 1/2 turn of the motor this claws come back again due to the springs and get ready to grabs the pins of the starter, but, for big saw the last stroke is often backwards with their big compression and big piston it kick harshly the pine of the starter and can destroying it with répétition. He pull a little bit of rope to softly take this kickback with his hand instead of the pin. Hope you have taken something in this mooch of words (I'm french sorry). In his older video he explain it somewhere if you are interested. Have a good day.

What is the problem with the regular stock muffler that comes on the saw? You can open them up and get better flow with a deflector. Have here been any test comparisons between the pipe and a stock muffler that has been opened up? Just curious here.
