THESE DEAD TREES CHANGE WHEN YOU PUT A CUT WITH A CHAIN SAW IN THEM, CHOOSING THE RIGHT WOOD TO CUT IS IMPORTANT, I SLOW DOWN AND TALK WHILE CUTTING SO AS TO SHARE THE PROCESS WITH YOU

Touch'em all August. That's a grand slam man the t-shirts are. Snags have no chance with ya Buckin'. Lesson-Learned video for me: crown travel and speed is affected by how the face-cut is open and look up or have buddy if available reporting crown movement. You and Hogan are ✋ and glove team. Thanks Buckin'!!

I watched Tim (Cotontop3) using a powersaw a few days ago, and it really highlighted just how good your powersaws are. I mean, I can't say when he last sharpened it, but his family business is lumber, so he has to know what he is doing, but his cuts looked so slow compared to what we see from Buckin' and Hogan. It was watching the Iornhorse saw at 14:00 that inspired me to write this comment. That was brutal. It was like watching one of those V8 saw demos.

That saw runs great. Ran my 272 today on a job. I enjoy running the 272 compared to the new 372xtorq.
@Chevron.Muskoka5 жыл бұрын
Yeah Im not a real big fan of the strato saws myself. Pre xtorq 2171/372 is likely my favorite saw of all time so I may be a little biased
@wadedenman19195 жыл бұрын
The newer saws dont hold together like the older saws, plus performance isnt the best. Ive owned all kinds of saws but the xtorqs just are not worth the money. I wouldn't spend 900$ on a new 372xtorq when i can buy a used 372xpw for 300-500$ and it will out perform the xtorq hands down
@Chevron.Muskoka5 жыл бұрын
The strato saws cant bail heat quite as well so you have to run them accordingly. You can get them to go the distance with some modifications so they run a little cooler
@wadedenman19195 жыл бұрын
Yea i have ran a few of them cutting timber and on the landing, they just weren't that great. Once in awhile id find one that always ran and the bolts didnt rattle loose.

Almost like fallin in the hardwood eh buddy! I get into that situation all the time. Leaners with wide tops cant get enough speed before hanging up so there I am buckin them down till they roll out. Good thing our leaners usually have enough root damage that the butt log is pulp anyway
@bryantpfingsten89075 жыл бұрын
I really like the belt you have I am a hand cutter for a logger and just recently started my own tree service in Wisconsin. I like how the axe sits in there where could i find one? or is that something you made yourself.
@chadhall59212 жыл бұрын
Ironically I have a job to do tomorrow on a tree that is real similar to the leaner that you cut on this video. It’s a wild cherry that I have to cut
@bigcody16584 жыл бұрын
What causes the hard side leans that bad up north buckin? The only thing that causes it down here in the south is real crappy top soil where the root ball will try and pull out
