Man that was a cool helicopter ride. The main reason I watch this channel is the awesome views you show. Over the last few years I watch the work you do. Thank you keep it safe and enjoy those mountains
@mikeclark-e1fАй бұрын
Yes sir, dandy ride that morning! For those that have never ridden a chopper forth and back to work every day..., it's great that you can give them a glimpse of what it's like. Good job! An old Bull Buck once told me when I was still a shade or two of green, the money is only half your pay, the things you see and do in the woods is the rest of it. Good cutten, stay safe and don't get any on you.

WOW! Love that opening flight, and also the soothing music with the ride. Agree with all the earlier posts about flights, scenery, music. Really world-class stuff. also I have newer appreciation about the costs involved with Heli logging. Thanks, Bjarne! PS: Right after the buck broke and you realized you were all safe -- looks like you were looking back uphill to see if anyone was watching your "oopsie" moment. lol

I'm pretty sure he was looking up to make sure no logs were kicked loose and rolling down the hill to take him out.

Yes that’s exactly what I was looking for. Nothings gunna roll up hill and squish ya. 🤙

Fabulous opening scene setter - and kudos to you for not spoiling it with discordant noise and shrieking howler monkeys. Your chosen music was just right. Wow!! Things can happen so quickly in forestry, one minute normal, then crack! gone! And that despite your careful weighing up of the situation before even starting to buck!

That beginning segment was great. Thanks for that! 😊 Loving your content. The production, photography and editing continue to get better and better.

Whether it’s just you or if you’re getting help or assistance from someone I’m not exactly sure but, the background music that is paired with your videos is absolutely excellent. I don’t know for sure what the title would be of the person who does the same job in large production films/ movies but, to me I would definitely say you have the knack for matching music to video footage. I’ve read some of your fan comments so I know you get the statement “TAKE CARE & BE CAREFUL OUT THERE” & also don’t take any part of the job for granted because 1 mistake is all it takes to change your life forever. Always a great job, great music, great videos, great scenery/ views, great without end. TAKE CARE & BEWARE OF DANGER.

Hoo baby! Anticipation! Contemplation! Overwhelming sensations, putting myself in your boots, watching you being methodical, yet circumstantially encountering actual struggle. Intense man. Even more so, played against the lull of the opening ride in, with its soothing music. Riteous video, brother. Respect. Work safe. Thank you for the instructional quality. I like to watch your face cuts and see the hinge wood after.

I won't type it, but you can be damn sure that I said a rude word or two when that jammed section broke away. You were obviously aware of the danger. We could see from how you kept looking back at your escape route. Glad you got out of the way.

Your intuition told you this bucking was going to be dangerous, always go with your intuition and be safe. There was a point while you were bucking, the second cut, when you were say to yourself "Why did I throw the axe so far away" Always enjoy your videos, but stay safe I want to watch a lot more of them.

Why is the camp barge so far from the blocks you are working? I am assuming there are not so many people staying on the barge accommodation that there are people working in every direction from the barge location?
@mattbrown7483Ай бұрын
Bjarne, love your content, but don't take any chances for the camera. If you wouldn't buck a tree without the camera, don't buck it because of the camera. Your content is great as is, we like it and enjoy listening to you explain why you do things a certain way. The bonus is the helicopter rides and the beautiful places you get to work in.

Why r some trees wrapped with the yellow tape
@bj8342Ай бұрын
Those are Straps. The engineering team thought the base of the tree might have cracks/splits so they strap the tree to prevent it from splitting when it falls. Cheap preventive measure that saves valuable wood.
