You could see j j's maturity when he's the one breaking up the fights over the extensive blocking.. And he quickly shut the official down with communication, who wanted to flag him, and he's like no, I'm breaking this up.

Gabe needs to be playing. Our linebackers are so slow to react. Simon had a great play, but they rarely ever play down hill. No way McCord over Howard. Our safeties play harder and more downhill than lb’s.

Styles is not even your fourth best linebacker. They should move simon back to the Wl.. Gabe is devastating when he hits people. Arvell should start.. The larger bodies we need in the middle.. Also, Simon is more Decisive because of his experience.. It's almost like. Styles is waiting for the ball Carrier to come to him instead of attacking. Then he gets ran over for 2 or 3 more yards.

I feel the same way about the linebackers, it just looks like a big mess!. Styles just looks lost, doesn’t know what he’s doing. I’m actually shocked that James isn’t trying to see what Gabe can do out there vs Styles who’s struggling badly!.

Defending against the pass looked suspect. Will Howard got a down field game ? All the guys in the QB room and portal really not as good as Will ?

Haven’t rewatched the whole game but did we run a 4-3-4 defense all game? I’m guessing we gave up some passing yards due to that?

That ball was not under thrown Dave. Sorry to disagree with you... The route was run too close to the boundary.He didn't keep his body between the ball and the defender

You guys keep dissing Devin Brown and I don't understand why. He threw a TD pass on 3rd and 10. Sayin could've done that too but he did nothing with his opportunity in the 4th quarter.

As a couch critique Defensively I just can’t understand why there always seems to be that open outside perimeter to TEs or RBs for the dump off passes . And also the large cushions given by the secondary.

I watched the game on replay because of my work schedule, but that allowed me to stop action and go back and review what I just seen. Very early on I began doing that just to figure out where Sonny Styles was each play. On those passes you are talking about, several times I saw him in no man's land. He wasn't moving toward the flat to help with the dump pass nor was he dropping back into hook zone. He was just wandering around. And the number of times he let himself be screened or blocked was pretty disappointing.

Defense is way shakier than Will Howard. Styles is not the guy. He looks confused half of the time. Doesn’t fill open windows. Reese is flat better than Styles. So is Powers RB’s are awesome. Receivers are awesome. Oline continues to grow. Little to no QB pressure. Secondary is easily the strength of the defense. The LBer will eventually cost us a win

Dave, Will got hurt and could have come back in after the timeout but Ryan still went with Brown. Stop gaslighting for Sayin. Kid has not practiced well at all. Ryan isn’t starting him let alone in a big game. He’s the future but he isn’t the present.
