@bruceholinight79784 жыл бұрын
No need to change the harness , just get the AVCS cable ! 02 and 03 WRX are very simple but try and get a JDM ecu , it will work with the USDM ecu but no AVCS , a version 8 JDM ecu will work but both need a tune , version 9 and up are immobilized !

i did install the avcs wires that goes to the ecu and i also have a jdm version 7 ecu installed is there anything else i would need to complete the swap? Besides the tune? Also do u know any good tuners that does remote tuning? I tried contacting delicious tuning. Jus wanted another persons input
@bruceholinight79784 жыл бұрын
@@kuponokaina9180 Change the fuel pump , don't run it unless you have octane boost till it's tuned , version 7 doesn't have AVCS or DCCD , you don't have to worry about AVCS , it does not increase your peak horsepower and you've got two more sensors to worry about ! The version 7 forged engine is the most popular , 7 or 8 both rock ! You're downpipe won't match up perfectly if it's JDM ! Needs pro-tune JDM engines won't accept Access port ! Good luck it will be worth it .......add the cylinder 4 cooling mod if you can !
