I watched this vid a while back and thought it was from the heart and a great thing to do for someone. Today while I was sitting outside with my mom who is 91 physicaly at about 60% and mentally pretty much gone, I realized that She doesn’t nessarly need to talk to people, be surounded by grandkids, (she hates kids) or be the center of attention. When she is happiest is when she feels safe and protected. My wife and I have taken care of her for years now. She is nice, confused and sometimes halucinates a bit. Today sitting outside with her reminded me of this video so I had to come back and watch it again. I like the way you mostly think of others. “THAT’S" what makes the story. How you get there is the fun stuff. You keep producing and we will keep watching.

You guys are The Real Deal. I salute you! Important safety tip, if you are going to blow up a trailer, let the fire department in on the plan. Someone sees the smoke, they are going to call, and the department is going to respond. Former fire captain here. Depending upon the agency, they can be there ahead of time. They can be sure the pyrotechnics are safe. Decades ago, when I was in the driver's seat, so to speak, I bent over backwards to take care of my guys. It came out of my pocket. Truth, I wouldn't have been able to be as successful if it wasn't for my employees. This reality in mind, I took care of them as family. You don't have to do that, but as we see, you are the Real Deal. What a fantastic experience! Awesome, guys! Bob

@@Anonymous-lv1jm Have you tried to live in an RV where there are many mice? I spent all of 2020 working out of town remodeling a campground and stayed 5+ nights per week in my trailer. It was a battle trying to keep the mice out and I kept the trailer cleaned up and food put away and dishes clean. Some people live quite messy.......my brother didn't keep his trailer as clean as I kept mine. The mice only came out at night or while I was away from the job site. I sealed up every hole and crack with foam and gorilla tape, but RV's are built like crap and mice can get in very small areas. As Mythbusters would say, it is plausible that he lived like that. I am surprised he caught 3 mice as they would run if I shined a light on them during the night and I only turned the lights off when I was sleeping (they don't like the light) and I used ultrasonic repellents and mouse traps. The squirrels or mice ate the wiring on our backhoe as well. Could be real, could be a stunt for the channel......it was entertaining either way, but I much prefer reality to reality tv discovery crap.

Your generosity knows no bounds, Sparks crew! Since you got the Bud's camper for free, a suggestion; some dental work for Bud. I had a family member who had a condition similar to Bud's and my family all pitched in and got him a full set of implants. It changed his life and set him on a more confident and productive life for he and is family. I thought exactly the same thing! We always kept $30,000 in cash stashed behind the microwave that was housed in a V-J pine cabinet that matched the kitchen of our mobile home. It had a slide-out panel secreted into the cabinet-work .. and NO ONE ever knew it was there!! (We even forgot to tell the people who bought it from us when we sold it!) I also kept the deeds to our ranch up there along with diamond jewelry, our passports, and other valuables - and while I did used to worry about fire, we had several fire extinguishers and our insurance covered these items as well. So I couldn't help thinking that it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume the Bud might have had SOMETHING of value stashed somewhere - and if not valuable, at least of sentimental value - because when you have to stay in mobile home parks from (which we had to do ourselves, but only very occasionally wherever the local laws wouldn't allow to us to park anywhere and camp for free when we were on the road) then you do worry about other park-people breaking in and stealing your valuables ... but they would never have found this!!! We never knew when we might need a large chunk of cash for whatever reasons, and it was a big rig that did take a lot of money just to keep it well-maintained - and cash always talks in any transaction. And as we were travelling long distances a safety deposit box just wasn't an option as the point was to keep those things and the cash with us. I think Bud really liked his new trailer though! What a nice guy!!!

It didn’t go unnoticed and it only sat at the dealer for about 2 weeks. We lived in full time and the floors were soft when we bought it new, we argued with Forrest River, the insurance and about 6 different dealerships and we heard “this needs to be fixed by forest River” and it’s not water damage about 25 times before legacy finally was able to say water damage and get our insurance to agree to fix it, then we saw the big country and traded so we didn’t have to be without a home for months while they fixed it.

When we traded it we were extremely clear about the entire floor needing redone, they even worked with us to get insurance to fix it, we just decided to trade and not wait for it to be fixed. They said it was a huge job and would likely be months and months of work.

That really isn't a whole lot of work for people who understand how RV's are built. It's just plywood underneath vinyl flooring. RV's and trailers are just very well polished turds. Underneath the polish they are just wood or aluminum.
