I've been watching these like a marathon lol. I leave for my long term travels in january starting in Chiang Mai. I'm just starting with my phone, a good mic and the dji osmo mobile 3. I thing you're traveling alone like im going to do, but I cant figure out how you're getting the walking scenes. Are you asking someone to help you? Cant wait for the next premiere man, keep going.. huuuge fan

Glad to hear you like the channel and you’ve been binging lol. Welcome! Well, when I’m not sponsored by a tourism board, I will actually ask random to people to simply follow me with the gimbal (the same one you have but version 2) for like 10-15 seconds. You’d be surprised how many people are cool with doing that simple favor. Next video is tomorrow and next episode is next Friday from Vienna 🇦🇹, but if you got the bell on, you’ll know. Good luck on your travels and don’t forget: b-roll is so so key when pasting together a video, so film everything.

compared to prague, or krakow ... yes BUDA- that has the castle....and pest(P-esh-tt) most hotels and shopping....its not hyped enough, some say most underated city in central europe* also its on the mighty danube-the duna, that connects many many river cruises and boats from country to country... segways are a nightmare for other tourists and locals,they should be banned for safety reasons... st stephens basilica, the famous building has the saint and king , the only church in christendom with a saint,virgin mary and jesus but not quite where you would expect them, i mean at the altar is the saint king*...also you can visit the severed saint king stephen's hand... the home of the magyars, palinka, langos and goulash and of course thermal spas... esztergom and south hungary debrecen is worth a visit too...

I'm sorry that you didn't get to go to Budapest when you were in Budapest. You didn't even go to a thermal bath! I know you might not have been allowed to film inside one -- although you probably could have filmed inside the Szechenyi since it's co-ed and everyone is in swimwear and I had no problem snapping pictures when there -- but the thermal baths are the most Budapest thing to do in Budapest, not the Castle! (And, except at the over-priced Gellert, I've never heard an American or even English accent inside any of them.) The Castle District is the only really truly touristy place in Budapest. Your disdain for the city really came through in this video. Give Budapest another chance and you will love it.
@MitchellTravels4 жыл бұрын
Well, Robert, I had a time crunch as I mentioned since it was a layover but I certainly didn’t have a disdain for the city 🤔
@retrofuturistic84 жыл бұрын
@@MitchellTravels Maybe I'm being overly defensive because Budapest is my favorite city in Europe. So maybe your disdain then was only for the Castle District, which I will admit is overly touristy (as in "over-crowded with tourists") and, as European castles go, not a particularly impressive castle. But that is what makes Budapest wonderful: they corral all the other tourists into the Castle District and that gives the rest of us have this huge, wonderful city to explore and enjoy relatively tourist-free. I would love to see a video where you give Budapest the full treatment, where you talk to the local experts about Hungarian cuisine (why is it the only country in that part of the world where the local cuisine is hot and spicy?) and wine (Hungary is a land of awesome, world-class wines and mediocre beer).

Gellert may be over-priced but it’s the most beautiful and well-organized bath
