現在、35才になります。高校時代にブッダ、ライムスター、スイケンに傾倒していました。ロック好きの友人に貸して色々な理由で、返してもらえなかったアルバム。当時は、凄く腹が立っていましたが、現在はこのアルバムの曲が色々な音楽好きに受け入れられたのだと、考えています。今聴いても、トラックの素晴らしさと歌詞のスマートさに酔います。

「ブッダの休日」が出た辺りに、電気グルーヴ「A」、コーネリアス「ファンタズマ」、フィッシュマンズ「宇宙・東京・世田谷」も出てて、ヒップホップとかロックとかテクノとか関係なくどれも擦り切れるほど聴いてた。 今考えても、それぞれ金字塔みたいな盤だし、ジャンルは違えど共通する空気感がある気がする。 こういうリスナーって、ここでは少数派なんだろうか…？
