浴佛節當天大嶼山寶蓮禪寺大殿前會放一水盆，裡面供奉太子像（即釋迦牟尼佛誕生像），善信會以香湯沐浴佛身，寓意以佛祖的智慧，洗滌污濁，淨化心靈。

地點📌紅磡香港體育館
日期⏰2024年5月15日至17日
大家可以在這幾天前往這裡，跟眾善信一起聽取「起心動念」，追尋生命的真諦。

地點📌維多利亞公園4至6號足球場
日期⏰2024年5月15日10:00-17:00
到時這裡會有素食攤位、釋迦族巡遊、敲鐘許願、花果祈福、雲水書車等很有意義的活動；還可以參與攤位遊戲，與悉達多公仔合影；抄經許願、浴佛靜心，品茶感受生活的禪意。

It is believed that when Buddha was born, nine dragons appeared in the sky and sprayed water to purify him. This day happens to fall on the 8th day of the fourth lunar month, which is designated as Buddha's Birthday or "Bathing Buddha Festival." The act of bathing the Buddha reminds us to maintain inner tranquility and keep our minds clear, connecting the nature of Buddha with our inner wisdom. This year, on May 15th, Hong Kong will host various events such as the Buddhist Ceremony, Buddha's Birthday Celebration, and Buddha's Birthday Carnival 🙏. 1️⃣ Buddhist Ceremony
Location📌 Po Lin Monastery, Lantau Island
Date⏰ May 9th to 15th, 2024
On the day of the Bathing Buddha Festival, a basin of water will be placed in front of the main hall of Po Lin Monastery, containing a statue of the Prince Siddhartha (the birth image of Shakyamuni Buddha). Devotees will bathe the Buddha statue with scented water, symbolizing the purification with the wisdom of Buddha.
2️⃣ Buddha's Birthday Celebration
Location📌 Hong Kong Coliseum, Hung Hom
Date⏰ May 15th to 17th, 2024
During these days, you can join fellow devotees in listening to talks on "Awakening the Mind" and exploring the truth of life.
3️⃣ Buddha's Birthday Carnival
Location📌 Victoria Park, Football Pitches 4-6
Date⏰ May 15th, 2024, 10:00-17:00
This carnival features vegetarian food stalls, a parade of Siddhartha's tribe, bell-ringing for wishes, flower and fruit blessings, mobile bookstores, and other meaningful activities. You can also participate in games in booths, take photos with a Siddhartha doll, copy sutras for blessings, engage in mindful bathing of the Buddha, and enjoy tea while experiencing the clues of Zen in life.
4️⃣ Vegetarianism
