港大客座教授如何看待考試成績❓ How does a visiting professor at the University of Hong Kong view exam results❓

❣️前幾天我去香港大學,正好遇到期末考試季,看到年輕的學生們在考場外候考的場景,就想起我以往也是這樣等在考場外面,盼著考試順利過關💪👏。
💕我們每一個人從學生時代開始就不可避免的要面對一場又一場的考試。
🌈其實考試原本是以學習為目的的測驗,但現在卻被賦予了太多的意義,仿佛成了衡量一切的重要標準。在我看來,考試只能反映學生在某一階段、某一領域內的知識掌握情況,而不能以此為標準去評價一個人的能力、潛力和價值。
❤️同樣對於我們企業來說,成績也不應該是衡量人才的唯一標準。人才應該是多元化、多角度地展現,而不是單一的考試成績分數來衡量！
🌈正值期末考試季,相信很多孩子抑或是成人都要面對成績分數考驗,希望我們都能更加全面、公正多維度的去評判一個人的價值,而不是局限於考試成績的分值。
❣️ A few days ago, I went to the University of Hong Kong, and happened to encounter the final exam season. Seeing the young students waiting outside the exam hall, it reminded me of the times when I used to wait outside the exam room, hoping to pass the exam smoothly.💪👏
💕 Each of us, from our student days, inevitably faces one exam after another.
🌈 In fact, exams aim at learning better originally, but now they have been imbued with too much meaning, as if they have become the important standard for measuring everything. From where I stand, exams can only reflect a student's knowledge in a certain stage and in a certain field, and cannot be used as the sole standard to evaluate a person's abilities, potential, and value.
❤️ Similarly, for our companies, grades should not be the only criterion for measuring talent. Talent ought to be presented in a multi-dimensional and multi-faceted way, rather than scarcely based on exam scores!
🌈 As the final exam season is upon us, I believe many children or adults will face the challenge of exam scores. I hope we can evaluate a person's value in a more comprehensive, fair and multi-dimensional way, rather than being limited to the exam score itself.
