Great video! Sadly, my two-year relationship ended a month ago. The person I thought was the love of my life decided to leave, and I’m still deeply in love with him. I can’t stop thinking about him, and despite all my efforts to win him back, nothing has worked. I feel so frustrated and can’t imagine being with anyone else. No matter what I do, he’s always on my mind, and I miss him terribly.

Letting go of someone you love is incredibly hard. I went through a similar experience when my twelve-year relationship ended. I couldn't bear to lose him, so I did everything I could to rekindle our relationship. Eventually, I sought the help of a spiritual counselor, who guided us back together.

I feel so at peace in my soul after listening to your positive messages. Our world has always had evil which want people negative, angry, bitter and fighting with each other. This feeds the psychologists, psychiatrists and medical companies. Evil controls and love/peace sets people free. Programmed w tvs, bad news all day, people have lost their souls. You and the other monks have a way to provide what people require. The social media reaches thousands and The Buddha's legacies are reaching souls longing for peace. I am so glad to hear about the abstaining from killing beings. It is so sad 😞 that in most societies we are brought up eating meat and don't even think there could be anything wrong with it. I can feel the pain of the animal kingdom and I pray that we all wake up to understanding that every being comes to this earth to live and to evolve and we have no right to take anyone's life just to satisfy our tastebuds.
@mahe4102 Жыл бұрын
That's so true and as much as I'd love no one killing animals it most likely won't happen. However, the 1st precept of abstaining from killing beings is not taking a living being's life (also not harming them). Buying poultry or meat from a supermarket or restaurant is not actually breaking the precept - but don't have it if you know they're killing the animal just for you. I believe you are one who doesn't eat meat? (I may be wrong) but I'm saying this so you don't have the wrong view of other people/ or even monks simply eating meat as it is not breaking the precept as taught by the Buddha. Hope it helps! :) May all beings be well and happy! 😊🙏🏼
@ashapuri3114 Жыл бұрын
@@mahe4102 Thanks for your words and your trying to educate me. I must say, it makes me very sad how this precept of not killing beings has been misinterpreted by some people. What you said about meat bought in a supermarket that has not been killed for you specifically, is simply a bad attempt to justify the fact that the person does not want to give up eating animals. I can definitely not respect a monk who eats slaughtered animals while there is so much vegetarian food available, and at the same time they talk about compassion. Can you not see how much pain is inflicted? And ultimately you inflict the pain on yourself through the karma you have created. If you pay someone (the butcher) to kill an animal you definitely share the karma.
@mahe4102 Жыл бұрын
@@ashapuri3114 Namo Buddhaya! Thank you for sharing. I understand that once anyone learns something and have a view about a particular topic we tend to think we are right and others are wrong - and that's a scary thing at times. I'd like to mention that I wouldn't have told you that or gave advice without knowing that it is certainly what the Buddha had said. I have read it in Suttas and heard it from Venerable Monks of Mahamevnawa. I also usually don't hold certain views of things I hear until I crosscheck with the words of the pure Dhamma (from the Sutta Pitaka). I hope you know that there is only one truth and that you find it, or in that case that we all find it! :) I can direct you to this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWPRpWyah56Id7M) which explains the full story/sutta in detail (but it is in Sinhala) and if you don't understand Sinhala, you can use this website to read the Suttas in English (suttacentral.net/snp2.2/en/sujato?layout=sidebyside&reference=none¬es=asterisk&highlight=false&script=latin). Alternatively, if you understand Pali you can use (tripitaka.online/sutta/12687) or the above link and turn on Pali and/or translate the page to english by right-clicking. Hope this helps! Theruwan Saranai! 🙏
@kumu2613 Жыл бұрын
Killing involves anger, greed and delusion all 3 unwholesome emotions in the mind. At the time of killing, there are only these negative unwholesome states if one stops for a second during that act to investigate his/her mind. Eating meat or buying meat from the supermarket does not involve hatred in the mind. At that moment there is greed in one’s mind, There is no anger when one sits down at the table to eat a roast chicken. But there is greediness and delusion operating. So, between the two acts (killing vs eating meat), killing is the worst as it defiles the mind with all 3 unwholesome states. Greed, hatred and delusion are the cause for all negative happenings in one’s mind and in everyone’s mind in this entire world. If a lay person is determined to keep the 5 precepts and develop seela (code of conduct via speech, deeds and thoughts), sooner than later, that person will slowly get away from eating meat as well. In the Buddha’s time period, factory farming as done in modern times was non-existent. If a person really learns how billions of animals are raised for meat in cramped and terrible conditions in the modern era, it is certain that a great majority will stop eating meat. People do not think beyond the pack of meat they buy…we forget that the pieces inside that packet once belonged to a sentient being. Once one learns to think that way, he/she/they will automatically refrain from eating meat as well. But we cannot force one to be a vegetarian or put down their eating habits of another.

Thanks for the sharing.. especially the last reminder.... it's workable on "true relationship" 😘 Adversely, if we met karmic relationship no matter how hard we practice these principles in return will be hurting more. They might take things for granted. I'm was born after my parent failed trying 2 times abortion. I grow up as an verbal abusive child. Amongst the 4 siblings, I'm the one taking good care of her when she was sick. Now she is Age 86,super healthy and I'm Age 47, she still likes to verbal abusing me without any reason. I already accepted and "social distance" from her. 🤣 Always sending my blessings to her live well & happily 💞.
