Heavenly Father protect my children. I’m overwhelmed because I’m on my own as a single mother. My husband passed many years ago. I have no one to turn to, but you. Heavenly Father. Give me strength Lord my sons are both special needs children. Guide me as I struggle to buy groceries, and as I struggle to pay rent every month. Please keep my sons safe and protect us from the evil ones of this world.💕

Honestly, I think for the last 20 years, I would hear similar messages to this and brush it off as the sort of advice that could only be a attained through My insecurity and self doubt would convince me that I didn’t really need anything like this and I could quickly push it away. But listening to this today at 42 and on the precipice of some big changes in my personal life, I’ve never felt such a pull to explore this. A real curiosity about all of it and instead of hearing the voice say “you don’t need this” it’s now saying “I want this.” When he said there are new stories to be written. Wow, that just hit me so hard, man. Thank you for sharing all these incredible conversations, Rich

I loved how at the end Hakim talked about the heart-mind and softening of our hearts. I do want to have my heart softened, I just don't know how... I'm a Russian living in Ukraine. All of my extended family is in Russia and we don't bring the subject of the war up because we disagree so strongly that we could easily cut ties with each other if we did talk about it. They are under the spell of the Russian propaganda and I'm here watching the drones fly over my head every day. What Russia is doing makes me so mad that I can hardly contain myself. I'm embarrassed to be Russian. I want the war to stop. My husband is an American and he brought it up a few times that he is contemplating about joining the Ukrainian army. I'm at a loss at what is the right decision here. We have two children. He is the bread winner... I'm tired and disillusioned in life. My heart is stone hard right now. I don't know how to f-fing soften it... End of rant. Peace. Plants.

As someone who has recently hit his 5th year of sobriety, this is such a vivid reminder to shed the things in our lives that no longer service us, so we can expand and elevate the ways in which we have the capacity to serve others. I will always be a work in progress, and I will always stumble upon more things to shed. I believe that's the journey, leaving this life empty but full -- not the other way around.

Going into nature can be beautiful, spiritual without microdosing. Try to open your mind without the chemical assistance. Start there before reaching for plant medicine as he calls it. I understand there are some people that will benefit but so many others can benefit from just getting outside without the additives to the experience. Peace! Plants!
@johannatheoneАй бұрын
Yes I personally believe true peace comes from harmony with nature without consuming plants as drugs..but that is my perspective after using a lot of Marijuana and Mushrooms when I was younger. I was immature and thought I was doing something spiritual but true spiritually in my opinion is without drugs. Peace

Trying to pull something from this....but I'm sorry this has such undertones of narcissism...to me the conversation is a complete preoccupation with oneself & ones own needs...every discussion is centered about themselves..." when I made that summit...I cried like I've never cried before"..."I got to see my life in 4K"...the culmination of every event is always described as "life changing"..."transformative"..."honoring thyself". Just screams of self centeredness. This just not resonate with me...& I wonder if the therapy he's seeking needs to focus a little on the narcissism.
@rhitaakhardid5792Ай бұрын
I agree. I tried to force myself to keep listening and could not connect.
@TheRealAfricanistАй бұрын
I totally disagree. There's nothing narcissistic about this conversation. He's being asked very candid questions about his life and his spiritual evolution/practices...so who else is he supposed to be talking about? Also, I guess you missed the whole part about him exposing underprivileged youth to hiking/meditation/larger than life places that changed their lives and what they believed was possible for themselves? That doesn't sound like narcissism to me. Actually, it sounds just the opposite... very inspiring.
