This! This is what assisted shedding should look like! I've seen so many videos (especially non-English speaking) where people helping their snakes, iguanas, and bearded dragons shed, and they start pulling on the new skin as well as the old. It hurts the reptile, both immediately and in the long-term, if you have to pull the new skin and therefore the animal's body. But that isn't what's happening here. There is very little extra pulling here. The old skin was ready to come off, and helping it do so didn't damage the new skin or the animal. Thank you so much for sharing a truly satisfying ASMR!

Reminds me of when I went to the skin salon, to get a chemical peel on my face. But they told me to resist the temptation to pull off the shedding pieces of skin. But I'm sure you checked w/ a vet, or read up on this, before you did it.

If you didn't have you to help him shred his skin . I mean if he lived in the wild how would it naturally happen. And does he have something like a cat box. Can you tell me more about his cage(don't like that word) what's in his house. Does he swim in a pool ,does the dog play with him, and what about the cats. Do they all get along or do they get a little scrappy? Questions I have so many of them it's just this is the coolest thing I have ever seen. 😀😀🐲

Sometimes there can be spots that don’t need to be taken off yet but like someone else said soaking it does help To loosen the skin but when it comes off this easy there’s nothing wrong
