Your grocery haul was great and your food looked so yummy.

Loved seeing your plan and haul. I have been wanting strawberries but they have looked so bad at our stores. The pork loin dinner looks delicious! I made Swiss chicken, simple cheap, in the crockpot and was so good for dinners. Had it with broccoli. Also chicken and dumplings, again crockpot meal because I'm lazy haha. So good though!

I'm not on a strict budget like you (debt free here, woohoo!), but I totally do this same thing for food. I make one thing and eat it lots of times. So many of my coworkers and friends say "I couldn't eat the same thing 3 times in a row," but it is both cost effective and helps with portion control. Keep up the good work! You will be debt free any day now!

I, like you, could eat the same thing several times, but my family doesn't like to do that. :( I try to alternate the "same" dinners/lunches with easy prep dinners (like soup and sandwiches), or freeze the extra to eat later.

We had those white plates growing up, I'm now 31 years old and when I see them in your videos it never fails to transport me right back to the care free days of childhood and happy times with my family😜 Missed these types of vlogs from you so was super happy to see one up in my feed:-) Hope you had a excellent week 😃 Take care 🌞

Yum! Good job. I'm going have to try that tortilla pizza. I make chicken and cheese quesadillas for my grandkids quite often. I like stuff that's easy to make. I bought some Alaskan Jack's Salmon steaks and fixed those last night with cooked squash and a salad. I found them in the frozen foods at the grocers and they were less than $5 for two. That brand comes with the fish fillets already seasoned. I'll be buying those again. Dinner was yummy.

Heather Gabbert I know that's not funny but that totally just made my day. Us too, about a month ago I started getting strict on us and giving us $ CASH 100 for groceries and $50 for eating out per week, some people might say that's a lot but it's realistic while still cutting back and it's really helped to "see" where our money's going and be more conscious about our decisions. Good luck! 🍀❤️

we were starting to look like that too but check out Hello Fresh or one of the other meal plans. it is like $60 for 3 meals for 2 people. We were spending that on Chinese delivery so it made perfect since to us to go for it. but check it out it may help

I discovered the frozen Tyson spicy chicken strips (my new favorite!) and have been having them for dinner with some Ken's honey mustard salad dressing YUMM. I also have a vegetable with it and usually a baked potato.

Your groceries are so much cheaper than it is here in northwestern Ontario Canada. Like 5lbs of potatoes are 5.99 Strawberries 3.99 a pack (and that's on sale) Eggs 3.99 a dozen, etc. So it can sure add up here and it's hard to not spend lots of money, but I try and buy sale items only if I can. I wish we had such low prices here.

What did I have for dinner this week? Well you posted this April 6 and I saw it today, April 7. So going backwards: April 6: Taco Bell! That's right! I was exhausted too so darling daughter and I ran to the border! April 5: Leftovers April 4: Fried chicken, corn and green beans (I use the dark meat of the chicken) April 3: Chicken and dumplings (I used the white meat of the chicken) & green beans April 2: Leftovers April 1: Pizza (Aldi's fancied up with tomatoes and sweet bell pepper) Mar 31: Hotdogs, cornbread, spinach I make up monthly menus, alter for deals and shop once a month. I put menu on my Google calendar now as I hope to never plan next year!

My bananas cost 55 cents a pound. I bought 3, roughly a pound. I have a NutriBullet, I recommend budgeting for one. My mom bought me mine. Spinach, banana, frozen fruit, chia or hemp seeds, and water, and mix it up in the blender.

Great job shopping and planning your meals this week. I tiredly read the title and thought "How in the world did she spend $4,500 on a weeks meals?" Glad I was wrong (though I am now curious how that could be done).

hahaha! That's so funny. As you've probably figured out, I put my current debt in each title. I appreciate your kind comment. I've had a lot of nasty ones telling me i'm clickbating or being misleading by having a number in my title.

If you are eating two bananas a day you are definitely going to want to pair it with some prunes or something or your life will be hard, if you know what I mean. I mean poop.
@lttldncr19997 жыл бұрын
if bananas are ripe they will help you poop but if they're not yu will get constipated
