There is always constant power and grounded by the ecu or the other way around. It doesn’t reallly matter which wire connects of the 2 because it’s basically a solenoid not an electric motor where reverse polarity will cause the motor to spin backwards.

Hey man, currently attempting to do this f23a swap in my 1991 cb7 so far this video has cleared some of my questions hopefully mine comes out as good as yours, keep it up.
@JAVIERFSG34 жыл бұрын
the idea of slapping the f22a head on it got discarded I decided to move on to better technology by keeping the f23 and just do the whole swap so I end up with an OEM+ fresh jdm motor on the car.

Nice to see some of that f-series footage man. I built a jdm F22b around the same time you posted that F22b swap. Which brought me to the channel way back. Been watching since and trying to support you homie.

Hi buddy, i did this swap on my 96 lx accord a few months ago. So far its running great. If you havent started it yet you might have an issue trying to ge it in time with the distributor. Now i used my stock lx distributor, works fine but the timing is not there spot on. So far yours is looking great man.

Yea this thing made hell tq. Just as much as a h22a to the wheel with just a h23a tb. 300 bucks for the motor. It was definitely worth it. It's turbo now making over 300wtq completely stock and its stupid fun. H motors are just too expensive these days

So I have done so much research and all I can find is people with the same questions but other people on forums telling them to do the research lmfao.. I know that I can use my obd1 dizzy in the f23a now but what about the iacv problem or is it plug and play?? I heard there is a three wire to two wire difference.. I am planning on doing a junkyard f23a1/4 build on my cd5 accord and youve done a great jobe on your cb7, and I plan on buying one soon just cause yours is looking so clean.. but this is going to be my setup f23a1 with f22b1 dizzy and f22b1 ecu and f22b1 engine harness but run the f23a1 injectors and fuel rail that I will wire up to my harness. But I want to figure out the whole wiring problem before I find myself in a big problem without a car to drive lol.. but can you tell me if it will be a plug and play fit with the alternator wire and iacv plug? If not do i just need to wire up the iacv to be able to wire up to my harness or?? Lmk

I don’t think it’s taking longer I just think it’s a new area that you don’t want to mess up. Also, you’re right not a lot of people doing any F series content at all and that right there makes it take longer because the research process is a little longer.

is there anything you had to do to get the chipped P28 ecu to work with the f23a? i have the exact car and jdm motor swap inspired by you, and when i plug in the P28 with a chip {basic basemap} it goes into limp mode, i did the obd1 conversion so its not that and its not the ecu because i cut the J1 jumper in the ecu and it runs without limp mode, when i reconnect J1 it cranks and turns over but wont stay running, help from anyone would be appreciated? p.s i deleted the iacv and egr from the ecu and my intake manifold doesnt have butterflys so its not that
