I finally got my hands on these sick headlights and omfg what a night and day difference, no pun intended 😂. But seriously these are 100% way better looking than the Morimoto Hybrid XB and a fraction of the cost. These lights are worth every penny.

They are definitely worth the money I was a little concerned about it because I bought them before anyone did. I was worried if they were real or not but when it arrived I was so excited. I did not put LEDs In yet I wanted to watch someone else do it first so can’t wait to see LEDS when you guys install them.

@@EthanSilver no so the first click on the light switch would be the turn signals that’s what it’s replacing The LED is just a daytime running light and when you turn on the turn signal on it turns orange and then when you turn it off it goes back to white.

From my understanding 08-12 pathfinders are wider up front and so are the lights just a tad so Frontier lights wont “fit” but unless you buy some and try who knows

Installed these about a month ago in my 2018, previous lights were the garbage tier OEM reflectors. These blow them into orbit. I removed the halogen Installed Katana H7 and H11 led straight away, if you take your time with aligning the bulbs in the projector you won't get dead spots or glare and you do get a sharp cut off line. I barely had to aim them, I was able to install without completely removing the bumper, dropping it slightly gives enough space, its unnecessary but removing both front tires and removing the fender liners is helpful, I also had to pull my battery but I've also upgraded a few years ago to an H7 AGM so ymmv if you haven't dropped in a new gigantic battery in place of the tiny OEM.

I read the akkons have issues with water infiltration, rusting, and also that the DRLs would eventually stop functioning correctly. They would turn off on their own and for some reason turning the wipers on would get them to turn back on. Seems to be a common issue and remedy, along with poor customer service. Have you experienced anything like that?

Excellent video, I ordered and will be receiving mine in a few days.....QUESTION: What H7 LED's are you ordering? A simple fan-less like the "Lasfit L1 Plus H7" , I am concerned about the rubber dust cover/cup thing that is attached to the rear of each projector housing. Do you guys plan on just cutting that rubber dust cover housing and installing a H7 LED with a fan ?

You have to take the rubber plate off and behind it is the bulb. It’s a bit tight back there so good luck. Might be easier to remove some stuff in the area to make room

Headlights are great and no, the LED C light portion flashes as well when blinker is on.

the light output with these isn't great either. your best bet would be to retro fit the current lights you have with a high quality projector.

there's rubber covers on the back of the lights, pull those back and you can get to the bulbs.

I swapped out my scuffed stock lights on my 2016 Frontier. It wasn't that bad. That side 90° angle bolt can be tricky but not impossible to get to. I'm looking to maybe get a set of these now with the 22' aftermarket grill replacement.

👎🏼 Daytime running lights DRL implies that the light strip comes on automatically with the ignition. Apparently these do not. You must manually turn on the headlights? The light strip does not appear to operate separately from the headlights. The item description on their website claims they are DRL with no further details. That is not a mere oversight. It is pure marketing deception. These lights are an epic failure just like all the other so called DRL upgrades for the Frontier. Good and informative video but the lights are junk IMO.
