In this video we attempt what should be quite an easy job installing a fuel pressure regulator into our 4g93 sohc turbo ce lancer. We also finish installing the Colt seats! Enjoy

So how did it work out? Did you manage to fix the leaks? Was it faulty material? Or was it just lousy installing? Should I buy this regulator? Is there any kind of useful information or outcome what so ever??

Hi, is it possible or worth to install a fuel pressure regulator for a naturally aspirated 4G93?
@itsmikelake2 жыл бұрын
It's possible although not really worth it unless your engine is highly modified. The stock regulator works very well :)
@ArunaVidu2 жыл бұрын
@@itsmikelake I saw in a forum that it will improve the acceleration over the stock FPR. Thanks mate. Looking forward to the next episode of the build. 😃

You could do some coil on plug conversion with the valve cover. Also tear off all the extra metal hanging off like the brackets etc and throw some paint on it. Makes the engine look much better than stock haha. I wanna get my hands on a dohc head but they don't have em over here in the us so I gotta source one from elsewhere somehow. Great vids bud keep it up 👍
@itsmikelake2 жыл бұрын
Definitely going to tidy up the valve cover for sure! Ahh yes the DOHC conversion is one that would be cool, but I think there's plenty of power to be made from the SOHC engine.
