My passion is also interior design, so I love listening and watching your videos. You give me so many ideas that I can use for my home which is a charming parade floor from 1878. The ceiling height is almost 4 m high and the interior doors to the rooms are almost the same height, they are outstanding! I have large high windows, beautiful tiled stoves and parquet floors. I have decorated with the color scheme brown, beige, terra/rust and gold to make the rooms cozier and more grand to match the ceiling height. So I love that you chose slightly warmer darker fabrics, because it gives the home a luxurious warm feeling. And I must say that the kitchen is so incredibly beautiful, you are a pro! 👌❤

My mother died recently and honestly your videos have kept me sane. Funeral 3 Feb and I’m reciting a poem. Absolutely gorgeous kitchen, the sage looks so good. I used to have russet and gold in my sitting room, I got bored with it really quickly, hate grey, but love deep champagne, the warm beige colour you looked at for your sofa is gorgeous. Oh I love the kitchen. Love the wooden chopping boards. Air fryer sits there well. The heavier curtain material will hang better.

OMG your kitchen is beautiful! OK, maybe I don’t love a white kitchen as much as I thought!😂 But the white/marble wrap on the counter tops is great! I need you to come and fix my place! I like the footstools that you have in the living room, even the color, but if you could recover those, I think that would be perfect.

Hey HBB let’s go Shaking with Sheldon😂. I’m a big fan off Jim Lawrence and they do a beautiful velvet fabric, think it’s Hurnston in burnt orange look beautiful on ya stools. You could also get a deep fringe & hot glue it. The fabrics. Love the choc herringbone for the sofa. Cinnamon for the stools & the warm fabric for the curtains. Yummy. If you are worried about recovering the stools, would it work to use slip covers instead? So you can take them off if you get fed up with them? That has given my ageing sofa, not exactly a 'new lease of life' because it still needs to be replaced, but it has certainly made it work for me while I fix up other jobs. Loving the new kitchen. Really stunning! Great results! HBB!

Why don't you turn the cupboard above the fryer into a deep shelf and put fryer on it and maybe the microwave if it's wide enough

Hi Sheldon, give Rendalls online butchers a look. They're Scottish and have lots of stuff!. My late husband was Scottish so some of the things make me nostalgic for times gone by. I even bought macaroni pies last time. Their chicken balmoral is wonderful, love their haggis,they even do an ex pat hamper type thing, a bit pricier, but, delivered to your door fresh!! Thermal curtains every time. I can leave putting the heating off for ages as the curtains keep the room warmer, also, they're great for the summer, closing them all day stops the house getting over hot! Kitchen's looking brilliant! Bit of white cushion flooring on the floor??
