My Papa always added a couple of drops of liquid crab boil to the potato water when we boiled them. It gives the potatoes a wonderful flavor but less is more. Just a few drops will do! We've been doing that for five generations now.

Brooke, we had Sunday Dinner at my moms every week my whole life. She started on Saturday night and we had dinner on the table within the hour after church on Sunday. There were 6 of us kids and all our kids, plus anyone else who happened in. There was always enough food. Nothing pretentious just good ole southern cooking with love. You will never regret the time spent preparing these suppers and the time spent surrounded by family. Momma passed away in 2008 but her legacy lives on. People are still talking about a meal they had at my momma’s house.

Brooke, try this for your banana pudding! It’s outrageous ! 1 can sweetened condensed milk. 1 1/2cups ice cold water. Mix. Add 1 small box instant vanilla pudding. Mix 2 mins. Let sit 5 mins. Add 8oz cool whip. Then layer as you did. So so good. Love you! Happy Birthday!

Odd. I’ve never had Mac salad WITHOUT eggs and mustard (and a splash of vinegar and a little sugar. It’s what I call the “goop”!) But I also like to make mine with radish and onion, tuna and peas. It’s a side that is often eaten as a meal in my house.

Hi brooke delicious meals . idk if you already know this but the corn hairs or corn silk from the corn are used in teas for many different reasons . Its a very valuable thing to keep if anyone in your family needs help with their urinary system or needs to lower blood sugar or improve their cholesterol level i believe a few more things as well including bed wetting .
