I agree with you about the faux/ processed menu items. I aim to only eat those occasionally, and try to focus on WFPB. But my soul needs a treat once in a while. Thanks for focusing on healthier, more frugal foods.

I absolutely love your grocery hauls! I'm one of those that spends a bloody fortune on vegan convenience foods because at this point in time, it's just easier for me that and I'm in the middle of a spring cleaning started back in April so everything is out of wack, no room to cook my own food currently. However, once it's completed, I fully intend to cook my own food, take out will be a rare occurrence. I already have your cookbooks (Except for the new one) and Candace's (Need to get her new one too lol)and a few other that I have and more than a few more to get. You are so right, food is just way expensive. Last week's takeout was just under $60 and I got a salad, an appetizer and a 2L bottle of Dr. Pepper ouch! I'm sorry for the long message and just wanted to say thank you for what you and the others do for us(And Bori is so sweet 🥰)😊✌️❤️🥰💜

We do a lot of haul's from our local Asian market. Fresh tofu and load's of veggies. The snacks are amazing too. Aldi is the next place for sure. Thank you again for sharing. Congratulations on your fur baby.

When I shop I tend to get more fresh vegetables. But now they have become very expensive in Australia. Frozen veggies are a lot cheaper, so I substitute some with them.

Love the video - If you are open to a tiny bit of criticism- please refrain from calling plant meats and plant cheeses - ‘fake’. They aren’t fake, they are made from natural ingredients and aren’t ‘fake’. But again, love the video - thank you for sharing. ♥️

I know Rose is trying to be nice but unless you're referring to a few, more expensive brands that actually contain natural ingredients (ex: some cashew cheese) then she is absolutely right they are fake. They are not natural nor healthy.. made of mostly oils and fillers. Vegan does not equal healthy or natural. If instead you say black bean burger pattie and it's made of black beans not trying to taste like meat then sure because it's not imitating something else but if you are talking about Impossible burgers or Beyond meat for example then these again are absolutely a fake "meat" burger.

How long does this usually last you? Lately I’ve been spending over 200 usd every time I go but I can stretch it out to two weeks or sometimes more when I eat out with my bf. I’m trying to spend less but it’s hard when I’ve been buying the same exact groceries for 100 usd and now I feel like I buy less and less and am paying more and more. I’m going grocery shopping when I get my next paycheck on Friday so this video came just in time. Thank you!

I gotta try to find jars of peppers where I am. I have found that peppers super cheap if you buy the pre cut frozen ones but the texture is not so great when you cook them and you can't use them fresh.
