I really believe Corsair have become one of those big brands you can count on as they seem to be getting it right with each new piece of tech. I own a number of Corsair products and can't complain one bit. This headset seems to be another great product, I won't get one of these myself as I already own a headset and yes it' s Corsair.

Their customer support is really good too. I have a dongle fail for my hs60 pros a couple years ago. Tried to buy one online but they were sold out everywhere. I emailed Corsair and explained the situation to them. The person I was in contact with was easy to communicate with and very helpful. They had me send the the product info of the dongle and 3 days later I got a new one in the mail(from the other side of the country mind you). So I definitely became a fan after that.

@@charlesbrown4483 Agreed, especially about the customer service as I bought a wrong PSU once, they where great. I sent it back and received a full refund. My present one is the corsair PSU a purchased afterwards and it's still going strong.

I got the original HS35, the headband is cracked after about a year... I wasn't twisting or anything just trying to put it on my head like normal, (without spreading it too far mind you) then it cracked. The earcups also rotted after about a year also... it's still usable though. The audio is okey. The earcup I replaced with after-market replacement. The headband, I just pray it live long enough... The V2 mic sounds great. Really better than the original. Very impressed. V1 audio sounded meh, but if this one sounded like HS80, maybe it's better... maybe it's not worth it to compare to the original V1. But I got a Philips SHP9500 anyway.

Wireless vs Wired. Still no excuse for Logitech's shitty mics, it just takes a lot more effort to get a good sounding wireless mic (more bandwidth).

How does a corsair budget mic sound better than in a steel series flagships?

I had to double check to see if you actually turned the microphone on during the Mic test since it sounds so incredibly clear. Wow.

I bought the LG g pro x wired and everything sounds so bad even with the best sound profiles, games sound like everythings far away with surround and the base really don't hit. I thought the reviews seemed great but they are a far cry from the arctis 5, anyone else have a similar experience? Also my friends say my voice sounds almost no different with bluevoice activated compared to the arctis 5's haha.

Bought the budget headset Steelseries Arctis Nova 1 based on one of Techne's reviews. It's mic sounded like a tin can. Also bought the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7X based on many KZbin reviewers' high praise of it. Despite the headset being okay, multi platform, having simultanous bluetooth while using the dongle and it's retractable mic, it's got many problems. Dongle lag, video sound cutting out, a mic of budget headset level.

Corsair never again. The durability of my hs65 is terrible, not even a year of using and already two ear pads are loose and can fall off any day now. Moreover the headband is cracked and it cracked when I was putting them on my head.
