The Bible audio is always a go to for me because the word of God is living and where ever you are in your life it will speak to you …. You may have read a passage many times but one day you listen to it and it is like it was intended for you that day and you understand it like never before. I love that. I should listen to it more. I put the Bible in 24 hrs in my car and listen to it when I drive.

I can’t even imagine all the struggles you’ve had. It’s one thing when you are doing something for yourself but it adds a whole other level of stress when you’re trying to do something for others, especially when you haven’t known them that long & most of it is a surprise. What you are doing is so special and looks amazing! I can’t believe all the time you are both putting into revamping the pieces you found.

Have y'all thought about getting some industrial shop fans? We live in GA and you know how summers here can be. My dad has to work outside a lot and purchased a couple of shop fans to circulate and move the air. It helps. Some shade tents might also help. They would offer some shade when you're having to work outside. I love love love the stain color you chose. It makes the wood pop. Looks amazing with the paint color. The tiles on the back of the seats are throwing me off for some reason. I think it's their color. I'm not sure what to do to make them appear more integrated. That's the only part of the benches that I'm not a fan of. I can't wait to see the whole project finished.

Taping wood that's not so stable b4 you drill can be helpful to keep it from splitting. Just fyi! Can't wait to see how it all turns out!!

For food grade stains you can use food coloring or tea or coffee to stain then there are oils for wood Island tops that are good grade

The stain is very nice but I still think I would like a pad the length of the benches to soften the seat. I am sure everything is going to look great when you are ALL finished and the clients will LOVE it!! Great work Kyle and Amanda. Great idea to offer this to your community and beyond. Have fun while you are doing it; eventhough it may be a LOT of work and steps to get to the finished product.
