This is the BestBuy Insignia universal lapel microphone review. I was on the quest for the best lavalier mic for youtube. I came across this budget lavalier mic at my local BestBuy. It’s not a wireless lavalier microphone, but this lapel mic does the job for me.

Are there better mics for that price range?

After I shot this video, I ordered one of the many generic mics you can find on Amazon for around $20. So far it's as good as this Insignia one. I don't know about longevity with long term use though. I will do another video in the future once I have more information.
