@@ModelMinutes I am wondering if they cld come up with some thing like the Rosebud/ Kitmaster/ Dapol non motorized kits. As the Kitmaster sterling single is beautiful but too old for its age to run on tracks smoothly...
@ModelMinutes4 жыл бұрын
@@NixTrains You mean with wheels that rotate? I think they looked at it but it was deemed too complicated for the printer they have, and would not give you a smooth rolling product
@NixTrains4 жыл бұрын
@@ModelMinutes yes wld have been nice if 3D wld allow this. (Wasn't aware of the difficulty untill u pointed this out). Then maybe other than the wheels- wld be nice to build a BMR sterling loco shell & chassis...

Very striking colour scheme, classy. All in all a nice model. I'm a fan of Budget Model Railways and it's nice to see an alternative view of their models.

I got one of these about a year ago, really simple model to put together but like you said, takes ages for polycement to bond with it... I ended up putting a load of filler in the gaps & trimming off some bits, added some others. Tried to make it look like a LNER Y6. Their kits are really good for the price, I've recently got some oo9 rolling stock which I've got no real complaints with, the gaps are less noticeable/ non-existent with their oo9 (& I presume N gauge) stuff. Really do recommend their stuff, excited to see where they go in the future; they are cornering a section of the model railway market that isn't catered for, people who want to do it on a budget & not spend £100 a pop on a new loco...
@ModelMinutes4 жыл бұрын
I agree! I might get some of their stuff for my own personal use as time progresses :D

Hey, I was wondering if you could help me out. I currently building a Type 90 tank and where the bottom half and the top half of the Tank are joined there is a large gap, what do you recommend I do
@ModelMinutes4 жыл бұрын
You can use some model filler to hide the gap

I do get some occasionally from various manufacturers for the purpose of review. I did have to send these ones back to BMR when they are done though so that they can use/display them however they want. If you develop your channel a bit more i'm sure some companies might be willing to send you some review samples. I don't make a habit of asking for free stuff, more often than not the companies approach me (which I think is the right way to go)

Hi Matt I’m a beginner to model railways and I watch budget model railways quite often and have learned from doing so ? It’s my intentions to build my first layout in N gauge please can you tel me will there be buildings such as churches , stations etc in N gauge 🤔. Paul
@ModelMinutes Жыл бұрын
Sadly I don't know about that - would be worth asking BMR directly
@alanrobertson72174 жыл бұрын
It looks as though more work was needed on the parts to get a better fit, especially the roof. For the money, probably not bad.
@ModelMinutes4 жыл бұрын
It does need a little work, but if you put some time into it you'll get a nice loco :)

That's not a tram. A tram is a vehicle designed to carry passengers ie, horse,steam, electric or even internal combustion. The model is a tram locomotive

That's interesting, thanks for sharing. It's still a pretty neat little train though
