Here are some readily available boxes I found at home depot on sale for 25 bucks I think are good candidates for replacement . Watertight too and also on Amazon: enjoy the video yall 🍻 amzn.to/3aaViO9

Awesome channel!! Great content! Also loved your “no rain anytime soon” in California, yet it was the wettest in 30+ years I’m in California also. Keep up the great work bro!!

Thanks buddy I appreciate it. Haha And yes CA has been getting a fair share of storms lately it’s great to see everything green and the lakes overflowing again. Can’t wait to get the trail up for a camp🍻

This is a great build. Really like the trailer and your videos. Keep it up. Wish I knew how to weld.

Thanks for watching, welding is something awesome to pick up and learn even as a hobby. I have a couple videos on here for beginner welding. 🍻

Perfect of what I'm wanting to build on the 1,700lb harbor freight trailer. Want a full chuck box on one side, smoker on the other and enough space to carry our ground camping gear instead of a roof top. Just leave it on the stock tires since we don't go all to far. Just old back country roads here in Louisiana. If seals don't work on those boxes, just get a couple custom made bags like your roof top is covered with. Bungee them down.

Awesome , that should be a fun project, build it to make it comfort you and your needs. It’s the best way in my opinion. Thanks for watching 🍻

Love the additional storage space. Those fenders are just screaming for some ammo boxes or metal tackle boxes attached to the as well. Can throw some spare nuts, bolts, washers and screws in them or bungee straps and extraction tools and straps. Or just food for your dog lol. Looks great Dustin, keep it going!

Thank you Tim, originally I wanted to put them on top of those fenders but that didn’t work out because they wouldn’t open the way I wanted to and would hang over the edge about an inch , just didn’t look right to me . But it’s a good idea , I did find some plastic waterproof boxes I may end up putting there. But good idea for sure. 🍻

I've found that mounting a sheath for a 21" chainsaw on my driver-side trailer fender is a real back- and time-saver. That said, I do a lot of forest trails early in the season before other guys have cleared them, so your mileage may vary, but I'd have a Stihl mounted there in a heartbeat.

Not to be critical, this is just a suggestion. I would swap the boxes from left to right to put the lift struts toward the inside. 99% of the time you will be swinging whatever you lift out of the boxes toward the outside of the trailer. Especially since you will have to work around the tongue. This way the struts will be out of the way when using the boxes. I'd hate to see you break a strut mount since they are welded in. Nice build.

I thought about that just after I bolted them on and it’s a great idea, just need to swap them over now. Thanks for watching 🍻

Surfed on in from the (right coast) looking for some information from one of your previous vlogs for a SYE we installed on our 2004 TJ. Now Hubby and I can’t stop watching your other vlogs and we’re here to say thank you so much for taking the time to explain with detail every project you have accomplished. So appreciative we are! Stay safe out there on the Left coast, happy wheeling, and yes a big thumbs up, subscribed and rang the bell. Warmest Regards from Long Island…

Should switch the sides the boxes are on so the struts are in the middle to give you better access to the boxes

Nice work as always. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Have you ever weighed the trailer fully loaded out at a truck scale?
@ATEMOFFROAD2 жыл бұрын
Thank you buddy, I’d say I keep about 300 lbs of gear on the trailer since we last measured it. so I’m tugging about 1k lbs altogether. Jeep handles it well with 4:1 tc thanks for watching 🍻

Where is your generator

Currently I have 1 500wh generator and a 140w solar charger that pack in a tote in my trailer. Working on getting something larger with solar soon
