Who doesn't love a good old 'budget' install every now and again. Keeps your feet on the ground and head out the clouds. Never seen that pipe system before 👍

I've been using Bute for a few years too, I was fed up of pushfits popping off now and again and I wanted something I had 100% confidence in. The only fitting that's ever leaked was the solder elbow I missed like a numpty.

Thank you very much I appreciate the feedback. Generally we presurise systems to Six Bar if using a pump. Because it's only a small system I have just let the main do the job which was just under 4 Bar. I don't tend to see it much higher the that where I live. Thanks 👍

Why is this called budget? Would you use part plastic in high end jobs too?
