my advice is to try and diy anything you can and outsource what you can't to local shops/fabricators. too many tc bros bikes rolling around looking the same lol. excited to see this series unfold 🍻

I should be able to handle all of this myself or at least I know enough people who can help with what I can't do. Thanks for the comment

That’s awesome! Also something funny: I’m currently working on a 1987 sportster that I inherited from my aunt also!

I have been flipping bikes for 40 years. I would take a bike like that. Knock the stink off it. Fire it up and flip it. If you want to do it on a budget. Put the factory ignition switch back in it from eBay. They are cheap. I wouldn’t mess with the front end. Maybe satin black the little sporty tank and rear fender. Let the person who buys it paint their own colors on it. Best of luck! Smitty

The lines of the seat looks like it's meant for a hardtail application.

I'm kind of wondering that myself, see my part 2 video for it actually sitting on the bike. I bought it very cheaply so I could always sell it on, we'll see what happens! PS I like your channel a lot! Excited to see a comment from you on my little dinky channel. Thanks

That’s what happens when you try to make a sportster look like a big twin that’s what you end up with
@buttcrackcycles2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't like that tank or bars on a big twin either lol
@atrain8822 жыл бұрын
@@buttcrackcycles I would not either you are right about that also but that’s what happens when people try to do that crazy nonsense I need any ideas let me know I’ll build Harleys myself

Super b wrong carburetor for that bike

Might put a CV on it, might see how this runs and leave that to the next owner
@atrain8822 жыл бұрын
