What's up peeps! Today I wanted to share my weeks grocery purchases, and this time I decided to do things on a budget. I wanted to show that you can eat the proper human diet without it breaking the bank! I have been eating a carnivore diet since October 2023, and I'm absolutely thriving!

Been wanting to see more videos on being carnivore in the UK. This way of eating is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself but the cost has always been a limiting factor for what I can access. Thanks for making this video mate.

In the US we can buy direct from a Farmer, they will take it to the abbattoir, it will be processed to my specifications and then i pick it up. The best way to buy beef in bulk. You know how the farmer raised it and you know how the abbattoir processed it. I pay the farmer and abbattoir separately. Not to mention beef tallow, organ meats etc.

You can get some cheap meat from farmfoods, but it is frozen. Can get an Australian leg of lamb for £14.99 so that's about £6/kg, and you can get a 1kg bag of Uruguayan sirloin steak for £10.

Have you thought about a counter top distiller for your water. Aldi do their Big Daddy 454g rump steak for about £6ish, Tesco and Sainsbury's do one now for £12-14 per 1kg aswell, generally pretty good.If you like fish, Iceland warehouse do 3 for £10 on some fish. I get mackerel and bass fillets and a bag of prawns, it's always been ok. Good vid BTW,stuff like this always helpful.

Celtic salt does it for me, you can buy it in bulk online. It's kinda moist though, as it's not dried which apparently makes it retain much more nutrients.

To reference the fat content thing in the UK it’s seen as bad to have fatty meat for some reason. Even though it couldn’t be further from the truth that is the way people see it. People buy low fat and cut the visible fat out before cooking and then lose flavour in their food it’s mind boggling.

I’m American living in UK and from an outsiders perspective, it’s very clear that the public is really brainwashed by the school system and NHS worship. People are not as able to think independently. I’m not saying that doesn’t happen in America, but it’s more like religious people and extreme lefties in America who are programmed robots. But UK has an extreme sheep mentality because of the circumstances of being a lot of people crammed into a small space and being under socialism. Socialism teaches conformity. The NHS, as far as I can see, is a huge problem. Since the government funds NHS, it means that the government believes it has a right to program people’s minds on what they should eat. My mother in law follows the NHS UK gov food guidelines, her food plates match the government plate guidelines exactly. And that is diabetes on a plate right there. I also notice the way the serve food here, my MIL makes up the plates for everyone exactly the same. Socialism. At family gatherings in america, everyone makes their own plate how they like it. Individualism.

Give Aldi a go as well. I find it cheaper and generally nicer. Has 25% beef mince as well. I agree with you on preservatives. And if you want ham, good luck finding any without a sugar added in.

Mistake number 1 going to Asda, I get all grass fed ribeye from farm along with real pasture raised organic eggs which you should sepertate the yolk and only eat that as the white blocks biotin which is great for hair skin and nails. For you salt you need ancient sea salt so I order redmans real salt

I’ll tell you why. About the ground beef, I worked in the butchers in a supermarket many years ago, and I used to do the mince from these big bags that came in, the more fatty one had old scraps and the smell was god orful compared to the steak one.

Prince... a lil suggestion is using a kosher salt instead of flaky salt on steaks...flaky salts are usually for presentation but kosher in cooking works best as it gets spread pretty evenly on the steak

I’ve been getting 80/20 beef at Asda for ages. Currently they all have 80/20 beef at the same price as an Aldi price match. I rotate between all of them because I need to have groceries delivered. Asda is cheapest for steaks. Tesco has beef brisket I can’t find anywhere else. Morrison’s has venison and ostrich surprisingly cheap.

if you dont eat grass fed your health will pay the price in the long run with all those nasty hormones and antibiotics then will have reports how the diet distroyed people health in the longterm and it will be down to those people who were eating the carnivor diet on a budget that gives it a bad rep

Prince.. Kinda suggestion.since you are going for this lifestyle, if you got time and money, why don't you start small beef farm, poltry etc. That way you got your supply of food and money from selling them.. Plus you got the fun of rearing them. I would love to see those in videos where you show us the progress, most of us would.. again another income from youtube😊 Btw this lifestyle suits you. I can notice the changes. You are already looking way better😊

Be careful when it says grass fed. It doesn’t always mean it roams and grazes in fields all its life. There is a minimum amount of time they are fed grass at the end of their life, but still in cattle sheds. It’s all marketing much like organic.

13 stone?? are you sure you don't mean 13 pounds. Going to your local butchers and buying whole ribeye joints, I get them for £40 near me and get about 12 good chunky steaks out of them. The meat is way better than anything you can get at the supermarkets. I couldn't go back to supermarket meat now.

I understand carnivore/atkins/keto is great for obese people wanting to feel healthy lose wt quickly BUT some need to just cut back on carbs and sodas. Carnivore after a while can cause high BP, saturated fats cholesterol levels to rise. Salt is also a know cause of kidney stones. I am so happy it's working for you but you need vegetables and other nutrients. I just worry about those watching your journey that may not be in your shoes. Those who have very little body fat but may drink all soda and no water. And cutting back on those would help them tremendously. Exercise would also help. Some may have low sugar and them seeing your excitement of this diet. They cut out all carbs and sugar drops and they pass out. All diets should be monitored by a doctor. I am NOT fussing. You influence a lot of people and eating bacon 7 days a week, with other meats will clog an artery and sodium will forms those kidney stones. So please include to check in with doctor and this diet is not for people with kidney, colon and can't eat seafood. Yes I did keto. My ex did keto and lost almost 100lbs... but gained bp problems after 8 months, high cholesterol. Thank you for reading my comment. I enjoy your gaming videos.

@@Devoncarnivore what? It's not even about the veggies bro. It's about eating a hight fat sodium diet for extended periods and developing issues. Idk anything about what? Theyb2 of the MOST SUCCESSFUL sellers of a well known keto drink was hospitalized for bp 240/120.. I wasn't being mean. I just wanted to suggest the informant that not all people who watch his stream sit all day with no exercise. But anyway... diet on dude

Salt doesn't cause kidney stones, salt is a vital electrolyte. Carnivore doesn't cause BP to be off in the slightest and finally high cholesterol being bad was a paid myth spread by Proctor and gamble, in reality the one thing every person over 100 has in common is high cholesterol. Not being rude you just need to do more research and stop believing general Google paid ads
