I love a good ole’ pen and paper budget, but, I will keep and use a digital one as well. However, the pen and paper is “old faithful”😂.

I will not be buying another budget planner. I have 4 that I bought and they are all pretty much sitting unused. I might buy a printable budget sheet later but for now I’m just going to use my little notebook for my budget.

I bought a $7 planner from Walmart..,and I’m a once a month budgeter on social security.. and I track every penny even my food in the home.. any money I don’t spend in food I have a account I call a boat fund,.. this is aside from my emergency fund .. most people call it a miscellaneous fund or buffer, but I also keep about a $200-300 buffer in my bill account, because I’m disabled the envelope system was hard for me I don’t drive…. So I do my budgeting a little different but so far it’s working..

Hi! I got your Christmas and birthday card the other day! Thank you so much! I am so appreciative! ❤ so, I get pd ssd monthly, my job weekly and my fiancé’s job monthly! Lots of moving parts! Lol. And my ssd is the same monthly, my fiancé’s ck is normally around the same(last month was 1/2 of his normal cks) and my weekly pd job can vary, but normally around the same as I work the same hours mostly. Christmas was enjoyable. 😊 I love working pen and paper budgets, but I also have it written in 2 places, I have a digital bill tracker and a debt payoff tracker. 😅 plus I also do expenses in my notes as well as writing pen and paper.
