I’m an LPN- there are only two of us in our facility. Any extra hours are usually RN hours.... so I don’t get the chance to pickup until the RNS get the hours at OT First... which means I don’t get much OT. :(

I agree with Arlene! We have a couple LPN’s and they kill it too! I don’t do it regularly because I’m just trying to find balance. 😊

@@Beautifulmeandyou I am in canada....before the pandemic I used to pick up casual work at another long term care home, and did some private duty nursing for a personal care home. New rules mean we can only work in one facility :( once things get back to normal I'll be picking up to full time again for sure!

How would you advise setting up a sinking fund for maybe a credit card bill that you want to pay off early but also it’s mandatory that you pay it monthly as well? Or a loan? Would you categorize that under monthly expenses and a sinking fund?

If it were me, I’d put the minimum payment under monthly expenses. The extra savings toward anything additional in a sinking fund. Then before the billing cycle ends pay whatever extra you were able to save.

Do you take money away from each check for your mortgage? I ask this because you start the page with the amount AFTER you've paid the mortgage, 401K, etc. If you're getting paid bi-weekly, then you wouldn't have to take money away from each check for your mortgage. ..... In my case, it would be rent.
