1. Yes, rapid trigger support for gaming is better. 2. It's a better gaming keyboard, but not a better keyboard. It's Magnetic Vs Mechanical. Depends on what you want. 3. If you need wireless, the RK61 would be better. As magnetic keyboards don't really work with wireless as of now.

I like the idea of magnetic switches for gaming, but at the same time, I see them as a gimmick. Unless you are a pro gamer that needs every little advantage you can get, the magnetic switches are kinda overkill for the average player IMO. But I do like the fact they don´t have pins that can accidentally bend when putting them on the keyboard. As far as the 8000 polling rate, that´s kinda overkill as well. That high polling rate puts a lot of stress on a CPU. A 1000 polling rate is more than good enough and it doesn´t tax the CPU as much. And yes, the location of the USB C port on the side is just dumb.
@itssamueltan9 ай бұрын
I agree with most of your points, but we need products like this to slowly push the markets forward as well. Competition is also great for us users, so in the future we can get better products at lower prices. As for now, magnetic switches are more of a gimmick, but maybe in the future it will become the standard.

Nah, even usual gamers can see benefit in shooters. The fact that key press turns off instantly makes strafing just feel better.
@shockat50709 ай бұрын
sweaty gamers have their keyboards at 90° angle so the cable on side is not that bad, we're lucky the cable isnt on the other side though 😂
@faraonbre5 ай бұрын
Not really, polling rate is not hard on CPU, if you think it's the same as 8k with mouse it's day and night difference. Everything else is technology going forward, 20 years ago they thought 100hz polling rate is good enough. Also missed the point completely on magnetic switches, the advantage is that you can set them as sensitive as you want, you can trigger them in multiple places depending on the setting (half push for walk, full push for run), you have rapid trigger, SOCD. Comparing them to mechanical switches for gaming is like comparing a wooden cart to a car. For office it doesn't matter of course, but for gaming and FPS especially, it's light years ahead
