I get you Mary Beth. I was a Nursing Assistant for years, but I broke down one day and diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder. The job itself is physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding. It also does not pay enough for the time and responsibility employer's put upon you. You do what makes you feel good about yourself, and You write your own narrative not anyone else. Just stumbled on your channel for the first time and this video resonated. I’m a ND single mum of 3 children, 2 diagnosed autistic. It’s impossible to work when there’s no support system, family or friends to help and the father doesn’t either. However I feel it refreshing you give yourself grace, confident in prioritising your children against all odds. I’m doing the exact same thing. Those that judge do not live your life so as much as anyone can have an opinion- the only one that matters is yours. I really enjoy your videos, have you thought about working in the school system I work in the cafeteria at our local elementary school, I take my granddaughter to school and needed something in her school hours , I love it just thought I would mention that it's part time could be full time but I work 4.5 hours a day you have summers off and all major holidays most with pay. Just wanted to mention anyway I love your videos and think you are doing a great job, keeping pushing on things will get better, I will be praying for you and your family. I’m a single mom of two beautiful neurodivergent children. They’re teenagers now. I burnt myself out working three jobs most of their lives. Unfortunately I’m now disabled with several chronic issues. I appreciate where you’re coming from. Catch yourself up financially and then do what you feel is best for your family. Is Instacart, grub hub or door dash popular in your area? If so that’s a great way to make a little extra money. I think I asked in another video, are there charities in your area that help with rent and utility arrears? I think you’re doing great. Don’t let negative people who aren’t anywhere near the road your on upset you. You got this girl!

The only way to «stay at piece» with the whole «KZbin Tax», that percentage they take from superthanks and memberships, is to think of it as a «you only pay for KZbin’s services if you make money» type thing - we get to make and consume stuff «for free» (selling our souls for advertising purposes but that’s another thing altogether) - but without KZbin one wouldn’t have been able to upload or make money at all - and paying «as you go» pr. «sale» is always the most expensive option (think monthly subscription vs yearly discounted subscription vs one time lifetime fee difference). It’s just annoying that YT doesn’t have a yearly «creator option» but that would mean paying a fee in advance to make videos, not knowing how much you’d make in that year - so of all the options the YT tax is probably the least bad of all the options, but it s**ks

There is absolutely nothing wrong with customer service jobs. It’s a steady paycheck and exactly what you need. No one is above customer service if you need work and now is the best time to be in customer service. The industry pays more now after COVID than ever before. My 18 year old daughter in college had 1 zoom interview and Target gave her a job at Starbucks making $15 an hour. She gets more hours than she needs and makes great money, she is always so impressed with her paycheck. No one is too good or should frown on this type of work it’s absolutely necessary and a good way to make a living.

Not frowning on that type of work, just saying it’s not for everyone. It’s not my first choice for work nor is it sustainable for who I am. It may be necessary if there’s nothing else that is more suitable for me but it won’t be a position I ever stay in long term. I applaud anyone in a customer service role, it’s not an easy job position especially for someone that struggles with mental health.

I struggle with my mental health. Unless you've been there, you can't explain how it is on the daily. I think you are inspiring to be doing your own business and what you can for your children. Being present and loving them is most important. Do the best you can and keep God first. He will provide.

You needed to let it go. You are doing what you need right now. You can go to your county asst. Office there is help for your rent your grocerys. Keep one step at a time 1 minute 1hr 1day. That's all we can do.

Also, Brainlock book had some good things in it that might help you. Say only positive talk over yourself. Yes you can say a negative thing once but don’t repeat it over yourself.
