Never heard of Budgie b4 now. They sound like a great band. Probably dint hit it big as never got into fights, bit chickens heads off or dressed up in a red dress with a foxes head on or jumped up and down stabbing a Hammond Organ or playing a guitar with a bow. Like a few of the bands I got into. Being pretentious got many bands attention They got on the old grey whistle test I see on here. But their up there with so many bands from late 60,s and 70,s

I have a question for all you rockers out there. Young, and old, I do not care. ---How the fuck did you guys in England do this shit so great? You guys did not grow up on the MS river. You did not die with Leadbelly. You did not get the whip down south. You might have missed all the hard times America went thru during the civil rights movement. I do not think you understand about all these fucked up things that happen in America. So where did you get the magic from our hell? And it is important to me, and maybe others. And most important, why are you guys better at it, when we took all the hell in? Tell the truth. Tell the answer about the MS river, and why white men from thousands of miles away can play down with the best.

I've grown up from a very young age listining to these. I also love Sabbath and Led Zep. I cannot fathom how or why this band do not stand shoulder to shoulder with those bands as technicaly they are every bit as good. I guess they were just unlucky not to hit the heights of the others. Mind you there have been many many changes to the line up. For me I still remember Steve williams and the legendary Tony Bourge
@laveyanpride93625 жыл бұрын
To be honest, the name hurt em. They already had the fact they were Welshmen and shel's thick assed glasses and higher pitched voice. They just didn't have the look or the name. If that makes any sense to you. Sometimes, as we see here, the music just isn't always enough. Sadly.
