Im 62. I first heard Budgie when I worked near San Antonio Texas early 70s. There was an AM radio station better than any FM Ive ever heard. After hearing them I had to have their music importing some of it. Because of that radio station I was the first in my small town and even Dallas to hear and turn on people to Budgie,Scorpions who played in the small town in Germany I was located at,Judas Priest in the beginning when they destroyed any band they opened for and the first time ever to hear eruption Van Halen. Then the station dissapeared from the universe. It was such a wonderful time driving the car late at night with friends and max volume 2 mph for hours except when I was stopped and didnt know it due to microdots, strawberry fields, and the liquid kind that came in murine eye wash bottles that gave me a few out of the body experiences. I thought Budgie was fucking great!
