You have to be dumb to not think thats a foul he tackles head first into Wilson. I agree many of these hits that draw flags nowadays are dumb but thats an awful example to use.
@randallanderson16326 ай бұрын
@@entr224 The human body has the head on top. If a person is going forward and bends at the waist, he will be going head-first. I don't know a way around the simple dynamic of the human physiology. In the example I gave, the tackler is going head-first but his head and shoulder hit Wilson at about the same time, neither body part directly hitting Wilson's helmet. I could argue that it is a sport where the speed and size of today's players have outpaced today's concern for safety.
@entr2246 ай бұрын
Homie its not that hard to lean head first into someone. You probably haven't played football in 40 years but when they teach us to tackle its not that hard to avoid hitting the head.

It has to be without pads just like rugby . That's the only way you can minimize injury because it's a constant sport you'll never get rid of injurys but without pads u think twice about hit sticking someone because you have no protection
@randallanderson16325 ай бұрын
@@420drobud I have heard that theory a number of times. I think today's players are selected for their abilities and playing styles to play football with the equipment. And the players themselves have a mindset of playing with equipment. So, I don't know if there's a way of turning back now. Another thought would be playing on a field surface that radically slows players. Then there is the idea of covering players with inflated pads so they would look like the Michelin Man with a big, bubble helmet.
