Budugallena Forest Monastery And Mountain Sri Lanka

Budugallena is a remote hermitage where Buddhist monks meditate away from busy life of cities.the place is situated at Buttala-Kataragama road, Sri Lanka and you can see a stupa on top of a mountain for some length of the road and it's the Mountain we were exploring. The area is full of wild elephants and plenty of snakes,bears and tigers on the mountain area as we were informed.
We DO NOT WISH TO PROMOTE this place as it can be extremely disturbing for the monks living there and if possible induce the viewers to contribute to the development and well being of the hermitage. Hence we bring you only the hiking part and not the scenes inside the premises.
